Anyone who lives in a country with expensive privatised health care that gets a mental illness? These things don't happen in Scandinavia, where ANYONE can get access to mental health care - no matter if they're rich or not. Remember this the next time you go to vote... Is a tax break for the billionaires REALLY worth having mental patients roaming your streets?
@@anderslarsen4412 My father used to tell me that when I was growing up he never saw all manner of lunatic, degenerate, or other mentally disturbed scampering about. They were all safely tucked away or under mandated supervised medication or treatment, like it or not. The most unusual thing he might've witnessed was probably some harmless person muttering to themselves and even then someone had an eye on them. What the hell has happened to this country?? It's like our safety and well being has all been traded away for someone else's benefit.
Now imagine it was a White person who killed a 3 year old black child. It would be riots. Now look into how many times a White child has been murdered in the last 3 years, and ask yourself why you never hear about them.

Why wasn’t this woman in jail, she was just arrested for a parole violation, and has a rap sheet. If the courts weren’t so incompetent, this child might still be alive.

@cori7209 She failed to save her son. She will have to live with that. How she is doing goes way beyond her physical injuries. The question is beyond ridiculous and reduces her trauma to getting attacked.

Wouldn't universal health care be better? You know...like they have in Scandinavia??? Then mental patients could get treatment, even though they're poor....and you wouldn't have to live a life full of fear???? My worst nightmare would be to wake as an American.....having to live in fear of going bankrupt from medical debts, or a loved one being terminated by an untreated mental patient. We don't even pay a fraction for our health care in Scandinavia compared to what Americans pay.....and they get MUCH less for their private medical insurance payments. It seems so crazy you have such a flawed system....for such an otherwise rich country?

This same crime just happened here in Philly a couple of months ago, a “mentally ill” woman just randomly ran up to a family and stabbed their baby while he was in a stroller with his twin, thank God it wasn’t fatal but it was random, you have to be so aware when you are out with your children because demons are walking among us

I am black. I just saw this. Hate Crime? Even IF it's not so in the usual sense of those words, it doesn't matter!!! Anyone who would attack a mother who is with her child is absolutely filled with "Hate" and purely evil. Inexcusable!!! I am tired of everything being blamed on mental illness. My mother was a nurse who worked on the Psych wards. She used to always say that the truly "out of their mind" kind of people will walk around naked in public in broad daylight, eat their poop, and etc. These MONSTERS who bathe, get their hair and nails done, drive cars, and who choose their prey very specifically aren't crazy. THEY ARE CRUEL. Whatever punishment she gets won't be enough!!! That little boy will not have the opportunity to grow up. If his mother recovers, life for her has been forever altered needlessly!!! Shame on ANY judge that would give her bail, and release her back into society. I don't discriminate based on race. I call it as I see it regardless. I pray this mother recovers in every way. Americans will really do anything but vote for universal health care???? Imagine how good your country could be if poor people had access to health care??? According to the report, it doesn't sound like it was an altercation between these two women and certainly not this precious child. It was definitely ruthless, heinous and unprovoked.
