I think the trend of everything becoming a subscription nowadays is a problematic development, and one that we should work against by voting with our purses. Otherwise, more and more things you COULD own won't be "ownable" anymore in the future.
Remember the days when your video games were kinda your property? Because I do. You'd have a CD and a code. No internet, no phone calls, no crap. And now? Can't even play a game offline anymore. What is this sh!t?
However, this one is about meditation or self help and self improvement in general. Sure, the idea is nice. But after testing these apps, I can't really recommend them to anyone if I'm being honest. It lead me to absolutely nothing. It didn't motivate me. And I am having a pretty hard time to make this work. Not saying it won't for other people. But just the fact that a lot of this stuff is claiming to help people with ADHD seems so exploitative and manipulative to me.
