Hi Anny! The growth is CRAAAZY! your locs definitely flourished and still is, girl😍 my only regret for SL is not getting them sooner🤭☺thanks so much for this video ❤❤❤
Yep! That’s definitely a regret for me too… but I didn’t know about them before 2018… still, I would have been almost 4 years in if it didn’t take me so long to decide. 😅
Love it! Love it! From the outset, your videos were so informative, inspirational, and honest. Your words of wisdom, truthful journey comments- good and bad, really helped me. My install is in 3 weeks! I can't wait. Blessings!
Thank you! I really wanted to share my journey. People around me were curious, aaking a lot of questions and I also wanted to speak about the thin hair experience which is scary when choosing locs. I wasn't 100% sure it would a successful style for me but I really wanted to try it.
Your hair looks beautiful! I just revisited your one year video because your video was my inspiration when I got installed. My one year is March 31 and and my hair is still not looking as thick as yours! My front is also shorter than yours was. Comparison is rough but I'm hoping to achieve a simiar density to you. I was complaining to my loctician yesterday at my retie. This was the first retie I had no slippage 😒. I have fine hair also my hair is just very uneven. Thank you for your updates, they give me something to look forward to!
Thank you! I’ve come a long way and I remember watching Deviny from Let’s Journey and other Sisterlocks RU-vidrs in the beginning to imagine how my hair would evolve. It’s fun! My hair did surprise me most in 2021, I think. I was afraid of a setback and it did not happen. 😃 Thank God! 💖
Sister Anny! You are natural, real, and sincere. I am not a RU-vid junky; but, I did a bit of research and have followed other "sisterlockies"...YOU are my fav, hands down. So much information here for any and all who are considering this journey. I wish I shared the same love for the look that you express...I am trying to get there with encouragement from my consultant!! I have dense hair and would have preferred thinner locks. Almost at 1 year anniversary now and hope to be fully "loc'd" and fully in love with them...soon :) Keep sharing the info and God bless you!
Thank you for taking the time to watch. A permanent style is a hard decision to make. I’m truly happy with my decision. I’m glad I can help by sharing my experience.
Not using products or water is one of the things I love the most and I don't look forward to them maturing to the point I have to add moisture, conditioner, or whatever, as I see women doing. My hair simply loves nothing other than shampoo on it. It's amazing.
@Anny Keyz that is actually true. Pre poos, oil treatments, detangling, washing, deep conditioning, some more detangling, moisturising, sealing, styling, prepping hair every night, adjusting it in the morning, protective styles. The list was endless! Then, it always looked the same. No growth! I feel blessed with sisterlocks.
