Liege Airport, previously known as Liege-Bierset Airport, is the 3rd busiest airport in Belgium behind BRU and CRL, and is regarded as a gateway for air freight throughout Europe, as it uptakes a high volume of large freight aircraft in and out of the airport every day travelling to various places across the world, featuring major air freight airlines such as FedEx and Saudia Cargo. As well, the airport is well accounted for a large variety of passenger aircraft, making it such a great place to plane spot in Europe!
Liege Airport is one of my all time favorite airports in Europe and is where I caught some fantastic and unique Boeing 747 airlines on film that I have never seen before. Namely, Astral Aviation, Air ACT, ASL Airlines and many many more.
