I like the plan to allow DC on at least 1 loop. If you ever get to the point of fitting your own DCC chips, it's helpful to have a DC loop to check out and run in a locomotive before the surgery!
Thanks Neil, yea that is a good point. I do want to eventually convert some of my favorite and childhood DC locos to DCC. The thought is a bit scary as I don’t enjoy soldering!
