It really did feel like fall this past week, but the hot weather is returning. I don’t care. I’m still going to the apple orchard this week! I’ve got to stretch out fall for as long as possible!
The topiary looks so elegant and expensive. As a centerpiece on a dining table with different height candles placed up and down the table, it would be beautiful.🧡🤎🧡
Pumpkin is the coolest! Ironing the leaves in wax paper is something I did in school as a child. You are just amazing. The things you come up with are beyond anything most of us can think of. You have such a creative mind.
My favorite is the pop can leaf project! I have created many things with old pop cans. Cutting out leaves while watching videos is a relaxing project, ❤ and the end product is such a satisfying art piece!

Sherry, I am impressed as usual by all of your creative ideas; I especially liked the poetry garland which reminded me of my old days in the classroom. I can close my eyes and picture my students as they learned and reviewed Shakespearean/British sonnet structure, figurative language, rhyme scheme, and meaning. Wowzer! The taco shells are brilliant! Love all your diys! I antique waxed a raw wood stool. I think I got to heavy handed and forgot to wipe off excess, so I loss the wood grain. I will use it for a plant stand. I much prefer to watch the talents such as yourself DIY. Hugs 🌞Fl.
Thank you, Kimberley! If you want to remove some of the dark wax, you can use mineral spirits on a rag and wipe some of it off. You can also use olive oil on a rag to remove some of the wax.
Oh Sherry!!! 1st I was thrilled when I saw this video was 40+ mins. Wow, I always love everything you revamp and create. I tell you this a lot but it's true, your talent is above and beyond the norm. I have a small heat gun that I use when I decoupage napkins or rubber stamped and colored tissue paper to my candles; I'm much less liable to burn myself that way! I enjoyed all of your projects, as usual!

You must be the most creative person I’ve watched on RU-vid, always so inspiring! I think my favorite was the framed blackbird prints, although I loved the owl also. I love birds, books, and flowers, so your ideas always appeal to me.
A handy tip for the sweater leaf sewing: don’t cut the cotton leaf before sewing. Draw, sandwich fabric, pin… then sew, then cut. You will be able to handle the fabric better then with the tiny edges. It’s a helpful tip from a book: scrap savers Bazaar Stitchery. This makes turning detail edges easier 😉
You spoil us Sherry, giving us so many great projects in one go! I love the pumpkin alarm clock. Your assemblages are always a learning moment…when you glue together several items and make a whole new piece. The bowl pumpkin at the beginning was also a favorite. And, of course, it’s fun to see your nosy cat checking out the progress.

My fav is the needle point pumpkin. I liked all of them. The owl was really good too. Loved the wheelbarrow one too. The cement pumpkin was good too. Love the crochet thread pumpkins. I may make some of them. The lantern was also a big one for me. Geeze it is hard to pick a favorite, you out did yourself this time. All were good!!!!!! Peace!
So many great ideas! Too many favorites but the top faves are the candlestick topiary, twig table runner, owl, and pumpkin & bead garland. I live in the country so I have no shortage of twigs, leaves, and acorns, but my acorns never get as large as yours. I'd love those larger caps you have. I had an idea for the two bowl pumpkin - instead of gluing them together, glue a few small wood cubes around the inside of the top bowl, creating a lid that wouldn't slip off. Then your pumpkin could be used as a candy bowl or other storage. Oh, and I'm making the clock. I have one that has sat for years waiting for a project that was never done. My idea was completely different but I think it needs velvet pumpkins!

Always hard to decide but I really liked the black birds..candles wrapped with napkins and the leaf garland. Really like how you staged the owl. Items sell out so quickly on your site.
My favorite is the last one, the concrete pumpkin. The best part is I could store outdoors, since I have limited indoor space. It could be turned to the plain backside for Thanksgiving! I would probably add a dowel through the cup to provide a drainage hole. While I really like and appreciate all your projects, it would be helpful for those of us in cramped quarters if you could show some decorative items that are practical and wall mounted. I was slightly shocked when I was at hobby lobby a few days ago and saw they are already stocking Christmas stuff 😮. TFS

The black picture frames with the high resolution black bird prints were channeling “POE”, my favorite. The owl was very nice. I also like the idea to napkin cover the candles. Designs are endless. What a great idea for dinner parties, seasons and decor matchy matchy. Such a creative lovely, video. Also loved all the ideas for garlands. I love these pieces in this video. You are so creative. Love your reuse of old sweaters ! The garland with the glass bottles is really nice too. In my city there is a park with many trees that produce acorns. All I have to do is go harvest as many as I want.
