My Superb Losi 5b Vs Marks (lent to me) 30 Degree North Buggy. Both running 29cc engines, the 5b zenoah, 30DNB its stock 30deg 29.
Only 2 runs as my car cut out and my FID pull starter jammed due to sand from a previous run in my 5T ;(
Will defiantly get out and do a run showing more of these 2 cars together as they directly compete with each other.
Both are great fun but have a very different "feel" to them.

Great stuff Joel! Is the 30DB buggy box stock? I am pleasantly surprised it was neck and neck! A bold statement at the beginning 😂😂 is the 5b heavier maybe?

the 5b is slightly lighter actually. 30dnb stock ,yes. I think the 30dnb is setup for low/ mid range take off, 5b maybe better once its up n running for top end with its unsilenced pipe. plus i was woefully slow off the line that 1st run with my 5b losi ;) maybe we will get a re match soon.....

I had my 30cc up to 350°F, but was a bit worried. I read that 450°F was max, but that was for a 2stroke dirt bike.

If you don't have a 990 carburetor you need to get one it will oppen up that motor

990... they r both on stock carbs... tbh i'm very happy with my 5b setup at the moment. it runs like a dream!
