Unpopular opinion: I wouldn't really put Pedro in the same category as these other killers cause he targeted murderers and pedophiles who mostly likely deserved a death penalty.

A Colombian here, What the craziest thing here is, is that Garavito may be able to come out of prison this year. Even though he was sentenced to like 1800 years of imprisonment, in my country that's not a valid sentence and was sentenced to 40 years and because of '' good behaviour he may come out after 24 years.
I wholeheartedly agree. We're working on fixing that problem here in Florida. We are the first state in US history to enact capital punishment for sex offenders who prey on children.

She was friends with Debbie Kent who was one of Ted Bundy’s victims here in Utah. She made my middle name Debra after Debbie. For years Debbie’s Mom left their porch light on every night just in case Debbie came home.
Sex crimes and crimes against children are the sickest crimes because there’s literally no excuse. You could get in a fight accidentally kill someone. Completely different that you forcing yourself on someone. It’s purely selfish and grotesque. Although people who usually do sex crimes are usually victims themselves continuing the cycle.

The funny thing is, the bigger the number the less personal or relevant it seems. Everyone knows guys like Dahmer, Bundy, even Charles Manson who all had low body counts, and we know the brutal and gruesome details. But when you're told someone killed hundreds that somehow doesn't seem as meaningful, because it almost had to be a businesslike process at that point. Another factor here is, law enforcement might get a lot of flak but they're WAY better and more efficient in the US than in rural 3rd world countries, you could get away with killing people for a long time in a rural, poverty stricken country because there's no cameras, DNA testing, etc.

Letting the families of the victims have free shots at the monster is much better punishment and some good vengeance for the families

Tavid Iqbal wasn't killed in the manner in which he killed all those kids. A human rights organization stepped in and the govt decided against it. Ultimately he was found dead in his prison cell either murdered by guards or other inmates, no one knows for sure.
