30 Feminine Solo Date Ideas | For Self Love & Self Discovery 

I had a solo date on my birthday because everyone else had prior commitments. It was a wonderful day that I will never forget.

I do this once a week now - I go to a coffee shop or a bakery and take a good book! And I go on solo travel trips too, 3 nights all inclusive somewhere a few hours' flight away. Highly recommend.

Solo dates always replenish my energy, boost my confidence.. also i get to think deeply about my surroundings & life situations. ...gives me power. 💛🌿 🙌 ...my personal favourites are : 1. Going to a coffee shop 2. Movies dates 3. Visiting a museum 4. Lunch dates 5. Painting classes 6. Buying myself roses 6. Eating fudge / cheesecake 7. Hiking. 💕💕💕💕💕

Date yourself. Take yourself out to eat. Don't share your popcorn at the movies with anyone. Stroll around an art museum alone. Fall in love with the canvases. Fall in love with yourself. 🍷🍇

I recently went on a solo date on stand-up comedy show in my town and i didn't really like it and was kinda down about the night.. but then i thought "nobody could predict and know for sure how it's went and it's okay that i didn't like it. You are by yourself and you can get yourself anywhere or do anything that will make you feel better about this evening." AND THEN i realized how cool it is to go on solo dates. so went to my favorite mall, brought some healthy foods, went a good walk all by myself in the night. I felt honestly amazing and saved my own night!! Next week i am going on a art museum date and the week after that i am going to theater!! Wish everyone fulfilling and inspiring solo dates!!

I usually take myself to dinner at a restaurant. I also do movies & buy myself flowers occasionally. I find that on weekdays cooking myself a nice dinner, having a glass of wine, & watching a good show also gives good “me time”. Waking up a few hours before work, sipping tea, lighting a candle, and mapping out my day also makes me feel good! Im 24 and in school so I’m trying to find that work/life balance. I want to work on my night self care routine next. So far 2022 has been great! great video 💞

I would like to add a few...a day at home watching romantic comedies (or any lighthearted, feminine genre), visit your local arboretum/ botanical gardens, visit a zoo or aquarium, go on a dolphin tour or a sunset dinner cruise...and if you aren't near the water just find a nice way to connect with nature in your area. It's so spiritual, gratifying and healing 💕

Be careful when you go on a hike in nature. Make sure you have something to defend yourself with and plenty of water, an old fashioned compass, a small flashlight, a knife, a sturdy walking stick, some snacks, etc. Wear a backpack. Where I live we have mountain lions and other wild animals, and it gets very hot and humid going up. Also, there are random people who cross the path, some of them men. If you have a dog, also good to take th dog. You can also get a full body massage in your own home, there are certified massage therapists that drive to you and bring their equipment. It's awesome. Nice advice all of it, but I have been dating myself for a while, would sure be nice to date someone else that is worth it. I miss the old days when dating was actually fun and sometimes they would bring flowers o a small gift, like a book or some chocolates, and we would do stuff that was enjoyable without pressure for sex or anything else. Also, the men were respectful gentlemen and would open doors and pull up chairs for you.

These are great suggestions. I started the practice of buying myself flowers during the pandemic and it changed the energy of my home. I also feel that because this became a standard for myself - most of the guys that interacted with me rose to this standard.

Although an older woman than you, you got me on number 1: flower arrangement class. It's something that I have always wanted to know how to do but never took the time to learn, at least the basics beside my "good taste";-) It's now on my list for this month! Thanks! Love your style!

I buy myself flowers and balloons especially on my birthday. I have traveled alone because I love to visit the beach for meditation. I love getting a manicure and pedicure. I love gardening and flowers. I also grow my own vegetables and fruit in my backyard. Thanks for the ideas. I need to do more self-love ideas.

I recently took myself on a solo date to Cedar Point and dude it was f'n AWESOME!!!! Also, i finally accomplished one of my bucket list trips of going to NYC last month! I had always wanted to go, but had no one to go with. I finally just said f it and why by myself and chile' it was absolutely MAGICAL!!!!!!! ✨🗽

My favourite solo date idea is homemade spa day with relaxing music and skin/hair treatments, no noises, no netflix, just me and my thoughts 😊💅🏻✨

dance classes and yoga or pilates classes are ELITE! I always feel surrounded by so many kind women who are also taking dance classes alone and it’s always a great time

I don’t take myself to dance classes but I do take myself out dancing!! I love it! I also take solo trips and take myself out to eat or the movies. I want to try something new though like wine tasting or touring my city and other cities 🥰🥰🥰 thank you so much for reminding me to take care of myself. I just recently quit a job where I didn’t have the time and now that I’m a full time independent contractor I have the time and money to do those things!!!

Some of these I already do or have done. Makes me happy. I took my first solo trip trip this year for my birthday. It was such a great feeling and experience. I LOVE baking, I make treats often for me and my coworkers. I really want to take dance classes but I have yet to find adult classes near me.

Just wanted to add that a lot of these ideas may not be applicable to everyone due to location and safety reasons. Thank you for tips! I'm motivated to make self dates a habit. I've been asking out friends to go out and almost always disappointed that they cancel or don't have the time. I feel much better just expecting to go and take myself out so I don't have to wait for anyone else and it will spare me the disappointment of getting rejected.
