I always keep the bubble wraps which come with my orders. They were a massive help when I was shifting. Not only prevents breakage but also reduces waste which might've just been thrown away. Also you don't have to spend on buying new roll

Today I learned that what is called "moving" in American English is called "shifting" in Indian English. I love learning new things! Thank you for all of your hard work on this video, and for all of the great tips!
I just happened to see your video. As a person who has been shifting houses all my life, May be around 30+ times, I can say all your points are good. I could add a few more though. One is to not be afraid of all the extra work that it costs. By planning a systematic packing schedule it will be done with no great stress. Since women are going to do most of the work it will be a good idea not to have unhelpful men around, or well wishers who want to help but cause only more work for you. Tell your friends to help you with food, at least once a day to help you do maximum work that could be done. Don't accept invitation in the last few days, nor invite any one to dinner and add up trouble. Donate your books to children who like to read, give away things to poor, especially sarees, vessels etc when they are still good. Happy packing. God bless

This is one of the most thorough moving videos I have seen. I am doing two moves, one in with my Mother to take care of her and packing up the rest of my house for retirement in 3 years.
Your channel has helped me a lot in my life especially after marriage and having kids. My mom was a working woman who also struggled with bad health so she couldn’t really teach all these organising stuff to me. She taught me one thing that your teacher is your spiritual mother, and I guess u are my spiritual mom now 😅 whenever i get overwhelmed by how I am going to manage everything, I just search for one of your videos on this topic. We need to keep door mats seperately.before entering into new house...it will be very useful after entering new house. It's my personal experience so many times 🙂

I like all your videos...lovely tips and neat ideas to maintain...wish you all the best in your new house:) please do not suggest packing using cling wrap as it is not reused and it ends up in landfill..ziploc bags can be washed and reused a few times...you have so many followers, it would be great if all of us watch what fills the landfills...:)
Nice video Madam, I should have seen it earlier. I lost my camera yesterday while shifting. Also men dumped all our items like garbage into new house. Having tough time now arranging things 😔😔
