This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ru-vid.comUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!

I do like pressure cooking, I have been doing so for +40 years, with many different electric & stove top models. But honestly it is just a pot, that cooks faster. All of these same recipes can be done on the stove with any regular pot. Look at any stove top recipe and try it in an electric pressure cooker (less water & less time).

Bob Kelly i cooked ribs in the ip following someone else video and they came out incredible i used apple juice and water in the bottom instead of apple cider vinegar and used boneless ribs they came out so good ( used pressure lucks video and tweaked a bit

Oh my gosh. FINALLLLLY!!! Thank you! I am getting my first Insta pot and getting the pro crisp and was trying to find recipe videos. I’ve been really disheartened busy things that seemed to be terrible ideas. Like chicken breast, coconut milk and turmeric with NO other seasonings. Gross. Then I just saw this and said FINALLY recipes the way I love to cook and eat!!! I am only at 5:22 and super excited by what I see already. I’ll be subscribing for sure

I like the recipes you shared in this video and have to try some of them for myself to see how they turn out. I have the 3 Qt model since I am single and it works as advertised. The rubber sealing ring is hard to install once removed, but everything else works as it should.

The Mexican chicken stew is called Pozole.. never seen it served with pumpkin seeds and cheese though. It’s usually topped with cabbage and lemon juice

*I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus **MyBest.Kitchen** and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.*

My instant pot has a fill line which is high up so you have to add a lot of fluid which means the finished dish is very liquidy. I noticed in some of those recipes you didnt add much liquid? Is that doable

I just found out today that this pot was a pressure cooker. I’m from the 60’s and my mom had a pressure cooker and it exploded, never touch one since..and I’m 63

Hey, my mom used one, too. The new pressure cookers appear to lock and will not open until the pressure has dropped, right? We were always cautious and I am but feel very safe. Using mine more and more. Hope you find some reassurance in the link from Well Done.
