I mean you guys can also test your own cars by this method... It works... My 2014 VW Vento is giving 20.2kmpl at 80kmph on highways, in city it gives the well know 13kmpl. So don't blame anybody here, fuel up and get on the highway and see for yourself

i am driving VW polo 1.2 ltr(2010 model) .. drove from Pune to Amravati 638(Point A to Point B ) km with an avg of 25 km. i was little shock with my car performance was trying to confirm the same after watching your video i got the ansswer - yes with the speed range for 70 to 80 and maintaing the rpm - it is possible - i am very happy with my car performance - yes VW is fun to drive car ...

I have a polo diesel and my friend has a polo gt diesel. Both are awesome at drives. This is only car I have driven at 180 + and still feels very stable and planted in road.

Even my vento 1.6 tdi gave 31.5 kmpl. All you have to do keep speed less than 80 and rpm less than 2000. And the good thing about vento diesel is that its low end torque is good. So don't need to shift gears. And you can easily get above 30 mileage. But trust me it is soo boring keeping speed less than 80 kmph, Considering it is a Volkswagen engine😂

Even my rapid diesel gave once 34kmpl, and usually it's around 25kmpl, engine is meant to deliver power, if you don't wish to use that it starts delivering milege because the rpm stays at very low levels throughout the ride.

i have had polo tdi 1.2 for more than 8 yrs. brilliant car to drive. best i could get is 24kmpl at 90kmph. But what you did is astonishing. U clearly pulled out the FUN out of FUN TO DRIVE POLO. Polo at 70kmph is crawling speeds, bhai pakk jayen ge. 80kmph to 100kmph is the real world ( INDIA ) desired speed. plz make videos at these speeds, makes more sense. thanks.

I used to own a polo diesel manual. It used to give me over 20 in normal driving. I could get upto 25 also & when pushed hard it would still give me over 15 to 18

Use the same car bought it in June , the mileage is amazing the best I have got is 21km/ litre . I have mentioned it somewhere also . You drove on a highway with cruise control on , I could see that in the panel .The rpm and speed would be maintained. I got this mileage without putting the car on cruise control.

I have a polo highline petrol 2014 model and it gives a mileage of 13-14 in city with AC and even more when AC is off. And in highway I have got around 24kmpl of mileage from it, ofcourse it can't beat the new TSI variant in mileage because TSI polo has a 6th gear but the older one got only 5 gears, 6th gear brings down RPM to as low as 1400 when you are cruising at 70kmph, but old polo will run at 1800 rpm at the same speed, this difference of 400 rpm at the same speed certainly makes a difference of atleast 4-5 kmpl of maximum mileage what we can get, otherwise in cities both the old and new polo gives the same mileage despite of the new engine comes is smaller than the earlier version which was 1.2 ltrs

Best petrol turbo engine in it's segment.. n if u want more, thn only have one option i.e 1.5 petrol turbo frm VW itself 😁

I own 2016 Vento 1.5 Tdi DSG. I have managed to get up to 25 km/L mileage at around 65-70 kmph, 1200-1400 rpm in 7th gear.

Yes thats very much possible. My 2014 polo TDI once managed to clock 33 kmpl. Very recently I have got consistent 25 kmpl on Nashik Mumbai Expressway on 18 Dec 20. Many times I claim same mileage.

Most vehicles give good mileage at 80 KMPH. I have got 22 with Honda City 1.5 SMT driving between 80 to 90. Am sure Polo with 1 L should be able to deliver 30..

You've got a lot of patience to drive a fun ride vehicle at 70. I'm having the same and I've got a max of 26kmpl on a whole long drive of 470 Kms. I maintained below 90 similarly and slower acceleration but was through a bit of traffic also on the way. I'll surely try what you've did.👍

I use to drive 2012 1.2 ltr deisel vw polo around 80 to 90 km per hr.. N i got mileage between 20 to 23 and sometimes around 25.. Just need to shift gears accordingly n smoothly

I too own the same polo.. The mileage is good... I used to drive it in 90 -95 on highway.. Its gives me around 21 km/lt... With 4 seater on board... One time i took to my native place and i was the only person in the car... With the same 90 to 95 km/hr range it gave me 23... With cruise enabled for both... So the mileage depend on the engine usage and the load capacity... So 30 its shocking but when u drive in 70 to 80 it will give around 25 for sure which is good.❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are on a cruise control with the a speed maintained of 70kmpl with such a open road I’m sure it should give you a good mileage, but who drives with that speed and that top notch gear? And any idea how far can it go for an auto TSI?

I use this car, i drive pretty decent. On an avg, polo petrol 1.0 gives me 13-15

In real world situation don’t expect a milage more than 11-12kmpl bumper to bumper traffic condts . I use my polo 1.2ltr tsi very sedately still at best I receive a milage of 11kmpl .... usually with ac on it goes down to 10-11 kmpl ... even in winters when I dont use ac at all the milage go only a notch up like 12-13kmpl at best... But Yes on highway one definitely might get a milage of 16-17kmpl , that’s what I get maintaining a speed of 80+kmph keeping the rpm around 1.5rpm .

Guys…..safety crash tests are done at 65kmph. This is the safe speed + mileage

Did someone noticed , this car is on Full CRUICE CONTROL mode on. That's why on the Speedometer the CRUICE control light is glowing. Definitely, the KMPL will increase. No hard acceleration and added to that, the tyre pressure is not shown how much it has been kept , since the car has only 2868kms. So it's Brand New car
