Sooooo exciting! Today I did my first head stand without the wall! I skipped the first head stand and after the second I thought: "Ok, let´s see how she´s doing it!" - and I just made it!! I´m so excited Lesley, it´s the same in our everyday life - you just have to believe in what you want, thank you so much for what you are doing! :-)

Almost nailed the transition from crow pose to headstand, still not there yet. Day 57 done.😊 Here in Arizona, the temps have been over 105 degrees all week, really got me sweating. I hope all the unneeded AND unwelcomed toxins (physical & mental) came out just like the sweat. Happy Father's Day Duke, enjoy your boys and be kind to yourself. And all other yogis who may come across this comment, appreciate your Father's, even if they make it difficult, or you've been estranged from them. This will be my 7th year without my dad, so much I wished I'd told him before the illness took him away. Love & peace to everyone, namaste. 🙏🏻 🎣

Loved that, thank you. Sometimes when I see HIIT, I get a little worried. Sometimes they are just a little too much for me. This HIIT wasn’t very HIIT-ish :-D. I love bocasanna, but am always afraid that I will fall flat on my face (I have done this on more than one occasion!) I have to work on feeling the fear and doing it anyway. Namaste.

I think that this is my favorite of all your classes. It´s so well rounded and includes everything. I love that it has cardio, but not the kind that leaves you half dead halfway through the class. Also, I might be a little biased as the pigeon pose is my FAVORITE and I learned another version of it!!! THANK YOU!!

Loved today's class. This is my seconnd time going through the 90 day yoga fix and it's amazing what I can do now that I could not do the first time around. I could not do bakasana the first time around, now I can! Daily yoga with you has allowed my to accomplish poses that I thought were impossible. These are small victories that make me feel strong want to try even more challenging poses. Thank you!

I love it how this series makes me step into something new so often. Never even thought about crow to headstand, but I (now) dare to try. Did not work, but managed headstand (with the security off the wall;). A new small victory! Love these series, but it really saddens me that Lesley is not here anymore. It also leaves me with an ambivalent feeling: am I honouring her or not? Anyway, warm regards to all readers from Haarlem Netherlands!

Bakasanas have become one of my favorite pose. I am working on transitioning to tripod headstands, you sure make it look like an easy breathy one though we all know it requires a super strong core and confidence! I followed my heart moving here alone to America with only 2 luggages and leaving my friends and family in France. Little did I know that I will be meeting wonderful people along the way and experiencing exciting adventures, as well as finding my soulmate and creating our own family here 20 years later... Home is where the heart is! :-) With gratitude & love to you Lesley and our yoga community.

really enjoyed this class today! Thank you. Am not into doing headstands yet as I think I may have injured myself doing them at some point?! so I'm a bit hesitant. Would like to get back to them at some point though. I enjoyed the crow poses though intermingled with the flow sequence. And as always, I loved the reading at the end. Such an important reminder, the stuff at the end, about being able to go anywhere and do anything when I dont take things personally. Takes me back to QTIP...and I've also been thinking of another acronym that I really like and have been trying to remember lately - dont do anything in the FOG- out of Fear Obligation or Guilt. Another really important one for me! Oh, and my intention for today was LOVE towards myself ;)

This was just a perfect flow for me even though I cannot YET do the transition from Bakasana to tripod headstand. I am good with the Bakasana, but I am not ready yet for doing a headstand without a wall :) But: Practice a long time, and all is coming! I know I will be able to this sometime. Maybe in 6 months, maybe in a year, maybe in 5 years, but I know I will be able to do it. 5 months ago I wasn't able to do Bakasana. I was not able to do a headstand at the wall. Now I can do both :) And it is all thanks to you Lesley, you are such a great and inspiring teacher.

Hi Lesley Fightmaster Yoga Thank you for the practice today. Was very nice, but I found myself taking it slower than usual as I experience a little pain on my right knee. I guess is came from how I sit yesterday. I often sit on the floor while I´m crocheting. However, I did hug my knee and kiss it and say the love word and now feel a little better, I think I need to send more Love to it and be more careful with my movement. Today we are leaving for Meditation retreat for 10 days in Berlin. So I will not join You here till I will be back. Sending much Love to You and the Family ^_^

Another amazing class :) I love the transition crow / tripod, so I was really happy to practice. I added an extra tripod where I tried to go all the way up with straight legs, and I succeeded :D happy me ! (I can't do this in regular Sirsasana yet). I love all the flow, with the second part of the video focus on a slower pace and twists. And loooove to get back to pigeon pose, this asana make me feel so quiet, at peace. Still enjoyed the quotes, I really want to buy this book. The quote of today is a very good advice, but I'm so sensitive that it's really really hard for me to just let my heart open and don't take anything personnaly. But I'll try :) Have a beautiful day Lesley, namaste !

Focus. Living in this moment. Almost always my intentions as I move through this awesome series . I did both variations of Crow pose. Such a happy moment. Fell over in headstand, but stayed there for a breath before I fell. Growth!

I love your intention!! I'm glad you're enjoying the classes and it sounds like you're getting very strong. Be careful in your headstand...use a wall until you feel steadier! :-)

I actually made it into Bacasana (spelling?) today! It was brief, but I actually felt in control of my body during that pose, which has never happened before! I have a question about Child's Pose. Is it more important for the hips to rest on the heels, or for the forehead to touch the floor? Both just won't happen for me right now, so I'd appreciate knowing which is the more important part of the pose. :) Thanks for another great class, Lesley!

+Morcego2015 Awesome job!! I think that childs pose should be restful and a release for the back, so if it feels better with your head on the floor and your hips up, practice it that way or if you like your hips down and head up, you can do it like that...or you can switch back and forth. :-)

Well I couldn't do the transition,but I did bakasana and tripod headstand separatly:) I didn't think I could do tripod headstands,utntil now:) It was a big job for me today in 100F with 100% humidity ,and with some constraction workers under my window, giving me hard time to concentrate:D

Ny. Bridget Wow! Great job! It doesn't sound you had very nice conditions and you still made it through...you must be practicing pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) and dharana (concentration)...2 of the 8 limbs of yoga. Nice work!! xx

Fightmaster Yoga What are the other six limbs? (I guess four of them are the actual arms and legs, maybe?)
@thechecchihomestead6136
@thechecchihomestead6136 9 лет назад
Gregory Stewart The eight limbs of yoga is basically act as guidelines on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. 1: Yama:deals with one’s ethical standards and sense of integrity, focusing on our behavior . 2: Niyama:has to do with self-discipline and spiritual observances.These first two limbs are the most important! 3:Asanas: the postures practiced in yoga, 4:Pranayama:breath control 5:Pratyahara:withdrawal or sensory transcendence. 6:Dharana:Concentration 7:Dhyana:meditation 8: Samadhi:the state of ecstasy. Thy said in the past ,that you werent aloud to practice asanas(the third limb) until you not completed to integrate to first two limbs in your life.Wich can take years and years,because it is more complicated and hard ,then it's seems for first.

I've been working on crow for a year. I tend to slide off my arms, especially when I'm wearing long pants or long sleeves. Any suggestions? Thanks.

+Keri Burchfield Crow is so tricky! Try to vigorously press away from the floor, pull your abs in toward your spine and round your back. Try this class when you have a chance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2HneobUUbHs.html

Nice book but telling yourself not to take something personally ultimately just leads to more pain, as reactions happen no matter the concept we hold in mind, and knowing we need not take something personally doesn't help us, as we contract to someone's opinion or presence, then we just go into denial and self loathing for having a reaction......a much more helpful way is to just notice the loathing or reaction to what is and allow that.....then spontaneous love arises without the need for 'agreements' or anything else.....any book that prescribes anything at all is missing the most beautiful thing of all.......more practical applications for remaining true are to be found with Byron Katie and Eckhart Tolle
