I’m so glad Chris convinced this life long cardio queen of the importance of strength training. I’m so much stronger in my 60’s than I’ve ever been. And I plan to keep getting stronger & stronger🥰
I like that we did each move for one minute. That gives you a chance to adjust the weight mid set and still get enough reps. Also liked that we did it twice - again gave you a chance to really have good form with the right weight. Also, thanks fo your Kitchen Aid stories!
I saved this great 30-minute workout to repeat another time. The leg pulses at the end were challenging!❤🔥 Thank you for an efficient full body workout, Christina! 😃
I loved this quick total body. I know I need to do more strength but I am still working into longer durations. I am happy to report I need to get heavier weights!!! Thank you!
I have really come to love your strength workouts. Sure, cardio makes you feel as if you're actually doing something, leaving you a sweaty mess. But what really changes my body is strength training. Even though I sometimes curse you during the workouts I am always glad I did it! Lately I have started to use heavier weights for the first 30 seconds or so, and when I feel that my form weakens or I can't do one more repetition I turn to some lighter ones. This way I can still finish the exercise and don't feel like a quitter. 😜
The perfect full body strength class… and thank goodness it wasn’t longer than 30 minutes because it’s a torcher! Compound movements throughout allow you to work your entire body in half the time and get your heart rate up! Thanks Chris! 😻
Today was the day I increased my weights by 2lbs (15 lbs). Thank goodness this has a slow tempo. KILLER work out (my buns already hurt) Thanks for another strong workout!
Awesome total body workout! I really appreciate how CDorner does a complete workout with warmup. Her warm-ups actually target what you're working on, and I can't say the same for other instructors. Not only do I owe my newfound strength to Chris, but I know I'm getting stronger with good advice on weight lifting, good instructions on form, and proper warmup and cool down.
Thanks for another great full body workout!! You’re amazing and I now know I need even more weight options than before because I’m getting STRONGER 💪🏻👏🏻
Self professed cardio junkie but trust Chris's expertise. Made it through and feeling it today. Loved the workout and look forward to more. My knees didn't like to deep squat and kept popping. Joys of aging 😅
Thank you for all the encouragement to be sure to add strength workouts to the mix. I finally attempted this class. First time in four years to even try to do any strengthening exercises with weights because of injuries to both wrists, which also affected the elbows. 😲 Even though I could only use 3 lbs and 5 lb weights at least I was able to use those 3 and 5 lb wts. Thank you so much for your instruction and attention to form. Greatly appreciated your teaching. Looking forward to doing this class again and hopefully be able to safely increase wts in the future. 🙂
This is a perfect workout. I did this a week ago and felt great the whole day after. Also loved the conversation that helped to get distracted from the clock and to get all moves done 😊
Wow, 1400 videos...n this is from a year ago. I teach at the gym n have to go in to use certain equipment that I can't afford. And I do other instructors classes mainly to vary workout i.e. pilates/yoga, cycling. Between that and work, I come to your classes sporadically. But I enjoy your banter n energy. There's security in knowing your classes are always available. Thanks Chris! ❤
Thank you for this awesome workout, Chris! I love that you have some of these shorter (but very intense) workouts for busy days! I did 20s on those chest flys! 🙌🏽
Couldn't do the 50 minute total body one today so did this one. Already dance for 2 hours. Thank goodness for the 30 minute workouts! I will do the 50 minute one another time. xo Thank you.
I’ve been using the adjustable dumbbells and they are so helpful since I don’t have a lot of room to store a ton of dumbbells. Only take a couple seconds to change weights and get heavy enough for me for most upper body exercises!
I only had 30 minutes today for my full body strength workout and this one nailed it. One minutes are a challenge, but I feel myself getting so much stronger. Thank you!
Enjoyed this workout with Dumbbells and lots of compound movements. Missed you Chris but did several w/os from your awesome and extensive library! Thanks for ensuring we take care of ourselves!
Hi Chris! Thank you for another great workout! Sometimes my broken cartilage is just screaming in my knees from curtsy lunges so I modify. I'm still trying to keep it up cause I don't want to lose the strength...one day when I'm old enough for the knee replacements I'll get them...😂
A really fun overall full body workout. I feel strong from my head to my toes... Thank you... Love your remodeling stories. Tip for all... don't ever use the self-cleaning oven program... it fries the burners and locks the door!! Wishing you all a great day!
Love the shorter and/or split up workouts, especially on Mondays! My heart was pumping, and I broke a good sweat. It's truly amazing how good of a workout one can get in 30 minutes. I don't know how you do it, thank you!
Loved this today. Really working on my strength for horse riding so combining cardio, strength and mobility now instead of just step. Was getting menopausal weight gain but am down to perfect weight for me and starting to look more toned and enjoying all aspects of working out! Thank you Chris xx
