I have been working out with you for about 6 months now and the difference you have made to my health is just indescribable. Thank you for producing such a range of workouts that make it straightforward and fun to exercise every day. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
I can't tell you how much it means to me to read your comment today. I am absolutely thrilled that you're enjoying my workouts and that they have made a difference. Thank you so much for taking the time to write your comment.🫂
Finally a person who makes INTERMEDIATE level workouts for those of us over 50. You definitely have the corner on an underserved market. Keep it up. Wish there was a love button.
Your comment means a big deal to me, Eileen. Thank you so much for writing it! I realize there is a huge difference in fitness levels of people (no matter what age), and those over 50 are still very capable of doing more challenging workouts. My viewers are great at reminding me of just how capable and fit they are:) Just so you know, I create 3 levels of workouts to try to cater to my viewers. I create gentle, beginner and intermediate level workouts and categorize them all in the playlists. If you liked this one, the intermediate level playlist will suit you best. I typically upload an intermediate level workout every Monday and a gentle or beginner workout on Thursdays. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts as you try them out. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.💖
So glad I came across this video I’m trying out I’m going on 59 I can’t get on floor anymore plus have back issues.. etc use to do tae bo that was taken away from me yrs ago from my dr due to back I loved his workout and Richard Simmons Leslie Sansone, walk in place in Home good ones
@@keenacummings2017 I hope the workouts here work for you, Keena! Just so you know, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If you ever find the intermediate level is too much for your back, you'll have other options here. I hope you enjoy the workouts:)
Another great video! I’m working to move up with the number of minutes of cardio and am glad you have videos of different lengths. As always, I love no talking, written prompts, bouncy music, different lengths of movements (15, 20, 30 seconds) on videos, and moves that challenge coordination. Please keep up the good work and know that you are helping so many people get (or stay) fit and healthy!
You know it was a great workout when the time flies by and it was more fun than work. Great music. I enjoyed the quick transitions. Felt great afterwards. Thanks for putting out another creative and fun routine.
Really enjoying these intermediate workouts to get my heart rate up. Some of the new moves challenged my brain and coordination! Lol I couldn’t get the figure 8’s going the right way with the knee lifts but at least I was moving😂
I have to admit, towards the end I think I was smiling more since I was pretty chuffed that I hadn't screwed up the moves! Just to say, you're not alone, Carol!
Another winner!!! Almost quit at 20 minutes but I didnt and I feel so proud of myself. As a fully recovered two stroke survivor the one thing I cant do is give up on me. Just turned 72.. 73 here I come! Thank you for being such an integral part of my health journey.
Hi Jules: another amazing workout. I loved the music and loved exercising for 30 minutes. Im trying to get in shape. I exercise everyday and do treadmill everyday. I feel my legs are not in shape. I do weights 3times a week. Thanks for a great workout. Have a great day. 😅😅😅
Hi George, you're doing great if you're able to do this video, AND do the treadmill, AND do strength training! It's impressive how much you do. If you feel as though your legs aren't in shape, I'd just suggest adding on some squats into your day (start with 10 every day and add on when you're ready). When you start to do enough that your legs are tired/sore the next day, then start to do them every second day. I hope that helps.
There you are! I was wondering when you would pop up in the comments (and I see you figured out what day you’re on). I’m glad you got a good sweat on (and a cognitive workout, too!).❤️
I was so excited to see this in my notifications this morning. Really enjoyed it, loved the music too! I like how the movements change every 20 seconds, really keeps the heart rate up. Thank you!!
You did it again! The "repeaters" (e.g., knee lifts) are such a great way to challenge balance and work our core. The 20 seconds intervals make the moves doable. I was so excited to see this workout. You designed another fav!
Excellent cardio workout! The exercise change every 20 seconds is great. I didn’t mind repeating combinations because if I didn’t get it quite right the first time, it gave me a chance to correct it the second time!😂 I like the notification before the exercise change, too. Thank you!
Thank you ,Jules… that’s Wonderful! I worked out with your newest one and love it too. I love the music that you put to the moves. You do a wonderful job of putting these routines together for us! Amazing! Thank you again! 🇺🇸🥰💐
Did this for first time today. I was going do calendar dance one but felt wanted longer. This is a beauty. 20 seconds is so doable. The sweat is running down my face and back. These are fantastic and the format is great. Love love love love love this. More of these at some point. Thank you so much❤❤❤... Never enough thank yous for you.. I could thank you all day. You've made exercise a huge part if my daily routine❤
Ok. This one looks perfect for the pool using either buoys or aqua gloves. Even a pool noodle. The music goes perfectly with the steps. Keep up with the beat.
❤❤ I stumbled on one of your videos a couple of months ago. I love your workouts, your helpful spoken and written cues, and appreciate the blissful silence or music for background.
I have just discovered your channel and I love your style! I am working your videos into my rotation. I am really enjoying the 'no speaking' ones as a change, although your lovely smile is worth a thousand words. Thank you! P.S. I am a young-feeling 62 and hope to keep feeling young for years ahead, with regular exercise!
Hi Holly, thanks so much for your very kind comment and for taking the time to let me know that you're new here. In case you haven't noticed, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If you like this one, the intermediate level playlists will likely work best for you. Welcome to my channel and I hope you continue to enjoy the workouts.💖
Good morning, Jules! This was challenging, yet doable...Thank you for helping us to continually push ourselves just that little bit more. Strangely, even the second time around...i found the last part tough...feet to beat, arms slowing down...my coordination was all messed up, but it was great fun🤣
Super start to the day, I was so excited to see a new workout! It is fantastic, Jules, thank you so much. I am so glad that you continue to inspire and challenge us to have healthy strong bodies 😊
Jules, I was able to do this workout with very slight modifications (due to a toe injury) . I changed toe taps into heel taps when I could and tried to put my weight either on my heel or the ball of my foot. For the most part it worked really well and I loved the workout! Thanks!
As you said in one of your videos 'exercise is a celebration of what your body can do." Today I'm celebrating doing this pain free exactly 3 months after knee replacement surgery! My last PT appointment is this week (though I will keep it up at home to make sure no back-sliding)! I'm so thrilled beyond measure to be able to deo intermediate levels again - and now looking forward to(sorta) adding in your strength training videos! Yay you! Thanks for everything!
That is absolutely amazing, Wendy! Wow! I didn't think recovery from knee surgery would be that fast. I think a huge part of why you've recovered so quickly is because you have done the exercises as you were supposed to as part of recovery. I'm so happy for you to be able to get back to the workouts that you want to be doing.
I only had an hour today for a workout, so I ended up doing this one TWICE. Great one too. My arms are a little mad, but they will get over it. Thank you!
Thanks Christine! Just so you know, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If you liked this one, you'll find more in the 'intermediate' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of them when you try them out:)
I see a lot of people 50+ in the comments, and I love that so many of yall are into working out! I bet you are kicking ass. I just wanted to add that workouts like these are great also from the perspective of someone in their 20s who's really into fitness. I have days when I do lifting and some hardcore hiit, but there are days where I still want to move but honor my body if i'm ever not feeling up for that much of a challange. Or days when I can't go for my walk because of the weather. Or when I'm just feeling kind of dancy to be honest haha. Great channel, awesome work, so looking forward into incorporating these into my movement
Thanks for your great feedback, Anna. I'm very glad to read that you're enjoying the workouts here. I create 3 levels (gentle, beginner and intermediate) so if you liked this one, you can find plenty more at this level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. Thanks for taking the time to write a comment.🙏
I noticed I had liked this workout but I hadn't actually done it. Then saw the date it was posted. Just completed it this morning and it was tough. My poor arms have had a workout this week. Felt like giving up at the 17 minute mark but kept going. Thanks Jules. x
We didn’t realize this was an intermediate workout until after it started, but we just stayed with it and went a little slower when necessary. Wow, it was a great workout! I liked doing the moves in combos of two repeats; it went by really quickly, too. Thanks again for all you do to give us so many options!!!
I like the 20 second sets but have a tough time reading the subtitles, lol. I just follow along. I can’t quite squeeze in 3 steps across my kitchen. I had to do 2. Thanks Jules. Heart rate went up and blood sugar down. A win-win
Love this workout, thanks Jules, every day with Jules, and I am feeling stronger for it. These workouts really do target legs, glutes, arms and core. Thank you.
I love this workout, it kicks my butt lol in a good way. Am 30, haven't been active for over five years, wanted to find workouts that are gentle and manageable and doable that don't require jumping or getting up and down off the floor and your channel is exactly what I needed. Keep up the amazing work. :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to write your comment. I'm so glad to know that my workouts are working for you and that you're enjoying them. Welcome back to exercise, Suzanne! I hope you continue to enjoy the workouts that I create.
I decided to really work on my health this year and with your help Jules and workouts like this I’m probably fitter than I’ve been for many a year. I really love these workouts and I can pretty much keep up though my arms and legs get a bit uncoordinated😂at times. The 20 or 30 second format keeps things interesting and written directions mean I sometimes I play my own music just to mix things up a bit. Really appreciate all the work you put in to your videos Jules ……who knew getting fit could be such fun. ❤
Thanks so much for taking the time to write your comment and feedback, Lesley. I am absolutely thrilled to read that you are enjoying exercise (that means a lot!), and continue to get more fit as the days go on. Love it! 💪
Okey Dokey Jules! Thank you so much for these videos and the hard work you put into them. I appreciate the new moves because it challenges my brain to a different pattern, the 20sec changes, the music, everything about this video. Another hit Jules, thanks.
Love these exercises, i did others last year for about 3 or 4 months never saw much change but these are brilliant, I am already noticing a slight change in toning, as they say it is consistency that counts as change does not happen overnight. I mix and match all of them depending on the background beat which encourages you to keep going.
You're absolutely right about being consistent, working out daily, and being patient. It definitely takes time and making exercise a daily habit is going to make a big difference down the road.
I love your workouts a lot!!! I love them more with the real music. I am particulary fond of your 70's and 80's videos (probably cause I'm older). But this techno stuff doesn't really inspire me to move at all. It's a shame because this one was a nice pace.
I understand. Unfortunately when I use the copyrighted music, I do those for free (the music companies make the income from those videos). I wouldn’t be able to continue to do this if I wasn’t making an earning from some of the videos. I create the copyrighted ones as a thank you for my viewers. You could always mute my music and play other music that you enjoy so that way you can enjoy the new workouts while still listening to your favourite music. Just a thought.
Great workout my legs got a bit confused at times my coordination isn’t always good I have to really concentrate. But thank you again Jules for a really good workout 😊
I often repeat two exercises due to this reason...you're not alone, Wendy! I figure if I repeat two sets then it will help people to know what is coming up next.😉
Hi, I understand, but with copyright rules, I can't always use the copyrighted music. The alternative is to mute my music and put on your favourite music at the same time.
Note to self: when you’re instructed to dance, do not turn your back to the TV and Lord knows, keep your feet planted on the ground and move the rest of your body only!😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅 ouch🤣
great work out even tho i still think i belong in the beginner's section here because i got tired in 15mins but i went all the way with it. some moves i had to modify but most of them i could do and it has really helped me so far to build up strength and balance specially for my lower back/hip issues but we're getting there. now i had a little problem with one of your videos that i've never seen before happened and that is it had quite the youtube ads popping up kinda throwing my rhythm off a bit for a moment but no biggy in the end. i understand some ads need to happen on some videos in a lot of youtube content but hey, all in all, out all the vids i've done so far from this channel, that only happened once. good workout!
Hi! Thanks for the feedback on the workout. As for the ads, when I create the ones with popular music (50’s, 60’, etc.), they might have ads in them. I don’t have any control over those ones. The music companies who own the rights to the music gets any income earned from the video and they put ads in. For my other videos, I always ensure ads don’t go in the videos. I hope that helps you to understand how YT works. It’s complicated at times!
Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.
Thank you! I'm glad you're modifying the moves as needed (and kudos to you for still exercising and finding ways to work around the issues rather than avoiding exercise).
I love the shorter time frame. It really keeps me focused and I think the new music is great. I've been wondering what brand your shoes are in this video. I've seen them before and I would love to find how to get them
Thanks for letting me know that you liked the shorter times. The shoes are Puma but I've had them for quite a while now. Most of the shoes in my workouts are from a Puma outlet store. I find they are super comfortable, reasonably priced and fit my feet well. They also have very little tread which works well for indoor workouts.
