Bike route: This ride (Part 2) starts in the town of Harrison. We ride east for a few miles before turning around and cycling towards Plummer.

We ride that trail all the time. Hard to beat and usually not crowded at all. We unload the bikes in Harrison then we can go either way.

Hi Steve, when asked where our favorite ride is we always put the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene way up on the list. Thanks for the tip about using Harrison as a starting point.

Hi Liz & Paul. That 1st half traveling east had a long straightaway. Were you going east during this entire video? I couldn’t tell when or if you turned around. I never saw the return ride over the bridge. The percentage of recumbent cyclists was the greatest I have ever seen. Cool. Love the addition of the Strava info. ❤️👍🏽 Another inspiring ride. Looking forward to Part 3. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Robert, The first part was a continuation of the east bound trek before turning back, the bridge didn't make the cut but will be near the beginning of Part 3. I just don't have enough superlatives to describe that trail, but I will say that it currently holds the "my favorite ride" mantle for both of us. We did another 20 mile section (40 miles round trip - Cataldo to Medimont) of it on Saturday that just blew us away, and of course those videos we be up soon.

@@AmazingBikeRides Hello! I really enjoyed your Whatcom Falls & Colorado River rides, but I’m going to agree with you both and say this ride is the best. Unfortunately, I live about 1500 miles south of this Trail, so it’s unlikely I’ll get the opportunity to ride it myself. I’ll have to admire this Trail through your videos. Excited to see Part 3.

Hi Jim thanks for watching and we're glad you found our channel. In regards to distance, after editing to cutout the boring stuff I would estimate this ride to be >10 miles, the actual distance we covered was 40 miles. Keep pedaling! 🚴

Did you see any moose? We have seen them along this part of the trail, they are usually in the water. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍

Hi T W; No, unfortunately we didn't and were kinda disappointed because we'd heard there was a good chance of a sighting. We even came back and did a ride from Cataldo (videos to come) and didn't see any on that one either. Still, of all the places we've ridden this trail ranks as our favorite.
