@@Tarheelsruleyou need deep help. Kobe is not 80 percent of MJ. And He stile everything from MJ. Even of He would ne netter, He cant be. Please. Our of realiity in your edding mind. Kobe was not even Fibals MVP in more the half of his Chips. Insane Kids Toda..... Crazy
One of the strongest mental players of his generation the verbal attacks, the physical intimidation that he withstood and very rarely did he respond he just kept playing
I didn't see any fouls that I don't see today. The only difference is the lack of retaliation in today's nba. You just have to take it, because you have so much money to lose
massive respect for Jordan mentality..Lavar Ball was honest when he said there are people in da hood w same god given physical gifts as MJ, they chose to be drug addicts, ruined their potential by getting women pregnant.. etc For some reason when he said it, it stuck w me.. difference between Kobe and Wiggins? Mamba mentality vs. league average mindset
@@anthonytaylor7928 are you crazy where were the “pipen rules”? How about the “Bird rules”?…. How about the “Magic rules”?…. Yes hard fouls have always been in the game but you have players on film saying they we’re literally trying to hurt him……Next time keep your mouth close JA!
Dawg…. This is why Jordan’s the Goat… those hard fouls and he’s walking all calm, collected … gosh I miss these days Basketball 🏀 will never be the same 😔
Orlando Shaq knocked Jordan down and then helped him up. Jordan said he should have never did that because right then he realized Shaq wasn’t mean so he didn’t fear him.
After seeing this video, no one should believe LeBron James would average 27 during this period in the NBA. Because LeBron James didn't have a reliable jump shot early in his career, power forwards and centers would have punished him every time he took it to the hole. Frankly, it was a miracle that Jordan shot 49 percent and averaged 30 for his career. The NBA was pretty violent during the 80s and 90s. And it grew to replace baseball as the number 2 sport behind the NFL during this time.
I disagree, you forget that Bron played in 2003 those guys that were in the 90s were still in the NBA. Bron is crafty and is just as strong as anyone that played back in the day. He has the size and strength and could finish around the rim. The question is could some of those guys play today? You have a few like Robert Williams but not every team has a player like that.
@@harryjones7775 I think you are wrong about LeBron doing well in the 80s and 90s because LeBron always struggled against great defensive teams. On the biggest stage, LeBron got owned by the Spurs twice. In fact, he has a 19-19 career record against the Spurs. Look it up for yourself. LeBron James has been rather successful since Bruce Bowen, Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan left the team. And I didn't include defensive player of the year and NBA MVP David Robinson because he won 2 NBA titles prior to LeBron joining the League.
No hay discusión la Cabra 🐐. Pasarán más de mil años y nunca lo podrán igualar. Tuve el honor y privilegio de verlo jugar. Él día que sé enfrentó al Boston Celtics con Larie, un juego epico.
MJ took more of the hardest fouls ever in the NBA and kept playing thru them. Look how many times he was body slammed to the floor by the Detroit pistons alone. Players had to beat the hell out of him to slow him down but most of the time he just kept playing. I think later in his career he had been thru so much he started lash out a little more lol unfortunately Reggie miller got what Rodman and Isaiah Thomas deserved from MJ LOL. Even the GOAT can only take so much
Had to be The Kobe play.. how he overwhelmed overpowered overplayed him , pushed him aside like a fly .... ! Just a moment in time that says , you can initiate me but can't be me 💪🏻🔥🔥🔥
Everyone stop with the MJ and LeBron comparisons, just let them both be great respectively smh. Jordan was great and so is LeBron. Learn to appreciate the greatness of both of them.
No. Superstar calls & non calls have been around since forever. MJ had the benefit of them, as did Magic, Kareem, Bird, Barkley, Ewing, Pippen, Lebron, Kyrie, AI, etc…
Lebron gets HOF level of double standard. Lebron has less fouls than Jordan despite playing 349 more games. He has less fouls than Isiah Thomas despite playing 500 less games.
So if they try to break you literally for years and you make through all of that your going to keep on allowing it for the rest of your natural life , double standards stop being one sided.
Double standard lol LeBron has less fouls in 349 more games than Jordan. He has less fouls than Isiah Thomas in 500 more games. Thats HOF level of double standard.
@@jonathank786 Reggie Miller made those comments during the 1992-1993 season at that time the Chicago Bulls had only won 2 championships. I remember because I'm what the younger generation would consider a "Ole G" or "Old Head" because I'm in my 40's.
Rare....for who someone born in 1995. I remember those Bulls Sonics battles. Gary Payton was king 💩talker. MJ didnt take no 💩 , Rodman was worse 😂. Charles Barkey, Oakley & Otis Thorpe 😂
Just the fact that Jordan stayed red zone. The games over, the lights go out. Tommorrow is another day, no hard feelings. U go home to ur wife and kids, and watch the brady bunch. With MJ, he stays upset. Even in his sleep. Hes red zone, 24 -7, 365. Hes got tunnel vision, and it never turns off. Hes not ur friend. He spits on the pizza to mark it his. Hes mean, and hopes u dont like it. Its his way, or else. And u gotta admit. He dont relax. Lebron is nothing like that. Hes easy going. MJ wants to beat u, after he beats u. Ruthless
Just look at the 3:38 stop&go move. Honestly nobody in the current NBA is capable of that kind of stop&go move. MJ would average 45 ppg easy in todays weak league. Starks a smaller guard with the handcheck can't stay in front of MJ. Let that sink in. Smaller guard. Handcheck allowed. Still can't stay in front of taller MJ.
Penny Hardaway played in this era. And he's very skinny. So did Nick Van Exel. What makes you think Lebron wouldn't be able to? Just all those BS myths.
@@adewaleibraheem3974 i wish i could see lebron play against the bad boy pistons, lets see who would win if a whole team tries everything to put him down
All the fools with their agendas (political or otherwise) against LeBron to the point they say he gets away with too much, have either never watched the Jordan era or conveniently forgot it. Jordan is the GOAT but he got away with murder.
How did he get away with murder? I saw Jordan get more techs and offensive fouls in a 30min video than others have gotten their whole career. Lebron 1421gms 2604fouls Jordan 1072gms 2783fouls Thomas 979gms 2971fouls Seems like someone else gets away with murder.
@@lydellconner7451 Of particular interest was when Jordan fought Reggie Miller. He attacked Reggie but Reggie got tossed while Jordan stayed in the game. Most of these guys either have no idea about 80s-90's basketball or just play on assumptions.
@@adewaleibraheem3974 Exactly! I couldn't believe that when I was watching that game, those was one of the times I use to watch games with my friends that they was cheating for Jordan.
