I loved Colmar And here in my country Lebanon we have a lot of beautiful villages and very old like Byblos 5000 bc Baalbek 1000 bc They’re all good places to visit

Been there.. it’s actually very small place . Resort size. I went during 2018 heatwave. It was terrible. I recommend you find some village anywhere near the alpes . You won’t regret it.

MD GH Thank is you so much! I lived in the Netherlands for 12 years but never been to this village. Back in the days, as a young Moran, I was not interested to see places like this. Ever two years I still go to Amsterdam. Next time I will definitely visit this beautiful village. I love The Netherlands very much.

Wow, not too far away from where I live is Hallstatt. It definitely surprised me a bit to hear it is number one. I guess, I'm just so used to it that I can easily forget the true beauty of the landscape surrounded me

All these are not villages at all, rather a tourist destination. Was exactly looking for a natural wooded, lush green, pristine, not a tourist infested countryside, but something almost out of a fairy tale place. 27, 5, 4 and the last one.

Thanks for sharing! I think the one you picked was the best one! Bauen & Morcote in Switzerland i think are better than this Austrian town! I am visiting Switzerland & Austria in 10 days, if it’s easy to get to Hallstatt, i will go. I came back to edit, very easy to get there from Salzburg, i shall visit, let you know what i think later on in year!
