A few years ago, who would have said that this guy was going to be one of the two tennis players federer would face in his last profesional match ever.

Very talented and skillful player. If he only he decided to work on his fitness, he'd have been a great singles player. Glad he won a masters and reached the Finals that year. There's still many wonderful years of atleast doubles career ahead. Please enjoy playing and don't retire just yet. Hope you had a wonderful 30th birthday. Best wishes ahead, Jack 👍🏽🙏🏽

Most of his "skills" have evolved around his inability to move into proper position. Whoo knows how far he could have gone had he decided to get into shape and be a real athlete.
@samwillard1692
@samwillard1692 2 года назад
A real athlete? So someone that has grand slam championships in doubles and made it to the nitto atp finals one year for the top 8 players in the world isn’t a real athlete?!
@sixpoint3
@sixpoint3 2 года назад
@@samwillard1692 Maybe the wording was a little off, But winning Doubles or Mixed doubles even in Grand slam events doesn't require fitness, endurance or athleticism the likes of a Grand Slam event singles player. Federer, even at 41 could still achieve at this point, what Jack Sock has done,but he chooses not to. Sock however would be hard pressed to even get near one GS final given his physical shape. If he doesn't acknowledge that, then he is in denial. His whole coaching staff is dillusional if they don't tell him. It's really a darn shame, because with him and Kyrgios, the talent and potential w a s there.
@UdonFever
@UdonFever 2 года назад
@@sixpoint3 My guy they are two different skillsets. It’s possible Fed could win a doubles title due to his insane skills but Sock’s doubles abilities are so good that when a Bryan bro gets injured he’s their first option. Even if he stayed skinnier, Sock’s body type + skill set isn’t really cut out for consistent grand slam late appearances (although it is impressive he did get to #8 in singles at one point)
@turbotaquitogoogle8095
@turbotaquitogoogle8095 Год назад
@@sixpoint3 "Real athlete???" Compared to Rafa of course he's inferior in terms of fitness but he's, like, ridiculously accomplished, even in terms of professional athletes. Sure he won't win 20 slams and doesn't have the fastest 40-yard dash on tour but he's got one of the very biggest forehands on tour and is (I'd argue) the best doubles player on the entire planet.
