30 Screening or Border Plants P.2 - Plants That Make Great Neighbors - In this video I go over the second ten of 30 screening plants. There is one more part coming that will cover the last 10 screening plants. I was at Flowerwood nursery and they had a big selection of mostly plants for warmer areas.I have a screening plant playlist on the channel with many more varieties.

I can grow most of these in my Texas zone 8a but not my soil type. I have heavy black alkaline clay. Can you mention the acidic or alkaline soil requirement in future? Love your videos. They are so helpful and informative

Argh...now I need some Juliet Cleyera and Red Diamond Loropetalum! Just started planting my screening plants this fall. These will help add color, texture, and variety to my garden.

@@JimPutnam Jim, I think so too. I just got my chindo viburnums in the ground. Need to call around to Logan's, Homewood, and Big Bloomers and see who has what.

Great information. So helpful! Can you specify of the 30 you're showing in this series which ones are fairly drought tolerant? I'm in zone 9a in hot hot hot and dry Northern California.

How can you tell which cleyera you have. They both have bronze new growth. They come from a wholesale nursery so not all are labeled well. The leaves new are super super glossy.

Can you talk about screening in urban areas where your nieghbors are very close. .15 or .25 lots. What one can do to make property line but not have a high plant-- that does not get above 3ft or so. In the DC metro zone 7a.

I like that combo of Japanese boxwoods and sunshine Ligustrum that I used in my formal garden. Take a look at that video.
