I believe in God but Christianity is a religion that was created by humans, i dont like calling myself a christian because Jesus sent us to have a 1 to 1 relationship with him, therefore I'd rather refer to myself as a follower of christ you should too, people can be a part of a religion but not represent it well, at the end of the day we're the ones who will stand alone and be Judged by God.

Ian what you said here 8:02 isn't really logical if you think about it. Because religions are mostly taken from a scripture, and usually these scriptures tells us things like the practices and teachings of the religion, and sometimes a follower could go against these teachings and give the religion a bad reputation, so a good way to judge a religion is to actually read what the scripture of that religion says, this way you're directly learning the teachings and practices of the religion.

Hi Ian, I am atheist and have a strong interest in many religion groups as I find the different world views fascinating, Despite my interest in religion I've never been religious due to my research into many different religions bringing me to a complex perspective on everything but that's besides the point. Anyway, the unification church as you know from the comments, and I can see in your replies, is thought to be a high control group/cult I see you are quick to defend this, and the way you speak about the religion entirely seems quite vague, which is concerning to me. You are obviously entitled to your own beliefs but I encourage you to learn as much as you can about religions entirely and your own religions through many sources, you must consider perspectives from those inside, outside and unaffiliated, and ex-members to come to an informed conclusion about this group, and it may be hard to face. There is a great video by another youtuber who explores many groups labelled as cults, and is an ex-Jehovahs witness, idk if my comment will get blocked so here is the end of the link watch?v=fn-tnD_OvmA This video references cult expert steven hassan who is an ex-unification member, so they have insight into the group and draw from that experience. The Bible says Now is the day of salvation. Religion isn't the solution, it's Jesus Christ. You can mean well and be a "good" person, but the Bible says that no one is good, we are tainted with sin.

At the end of the day, religions are about betterment in the spiritual aspect, and they’re truly about how to be a better human being. You’re a great guy regardless of what religion you follow so it shouldn’t dictate what others see in you, the past of a religion doesn’t fully define what its followers believe in after all, only support for you man! @@georgesaliba8876 Man, while my beliefs are much more in line with Christianity and Catholicism, it’s this type of dogma that keeps me away from it. Yes, even if everyone has sin, it doesn’t automatically mean no one is good, nor that they have to automatically conform to one religion. There are many different cultures and groups which claim their religion is the one, but ultimately, it’s all about just leading a better life and about morality, so if someone practices what they want, we shouldn’t vilify them for it, instead just love and respect one another as we all should. Anyways please man, I don’t wanna have an argument over religion under a Clash Royale comments section G.

@@jam-to4wh Same here, but every religion does proclaim it's truths, they all point to Jesus. Jesus said to be unified as a church, denominations are labels for what a church collectively agrees. My church is a Baptist church, so our "beliefs" are by the Bible and only according to thus saith the Lord, there are numerous doctrines that Catholicism misses on, like infant baptism, Lord's supper. But the point is accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, every man will proclaim his own goodness, but God sees our works as filthy rags, so even though we do good, it doesn't make us inherently good, we can mean well, be servants for God, but even Jesus said "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother." Mark 10:18-21 He isn't saying don't call Jesus good, but the rich man called Him good teacher, we've broken the Ten Commandments, which makes me a lying, thieving, dishonorable, adulterous, blasphemer at my heart, and that's just 5 of the 10. Respect people's views, sure. But Satan uses other's religion as a factor to get people away from Jesus Christ.

Ian religion is the unification church, from what ive seen there was this korean guy who found it and since ww2 ppl started joining. They say this religion is like christianity but they believe that through interracial mariages along time Humans will only have one race.
