Thanks to his close friend David Guti, Alonso became part of the La Fabrika team, marking a turning point in his career. While he had already built experience at Gijón’s Tik nightclub, it was during the marathon afterhours sessions at La Fabrika where he truly thrived. These epic 8-hour sets became the cornerstone of the weekend for many, attracting a wide array of people from all over the northwest of Spain. Fans traveled from places like Galicia, Castilla y León, Cantabria, and even Bilbao, solely to experience the magic that Alonso and David created behind the decks.
The afterhours at La Fabrika had a unique culture-some people would wake up early on Sunday mornings, fresh from a night’s rest, just to join the session, while others, who had been out all night, would continue into the morning and beyond. As for the December celebration, the details are still being finalized-the venue and timing are yet to be decided, and it remains uncertain whether David will ultimately join Alonso for a back-to-back set. Regardless, the event promises to recapture the magic and energy of those unforgettable La Fabrika afterhours sessions.
