Informative video, I made similar box arround 10 years ago.. but based on experience.. some features that can be added, * adding a good MCB and a fuse will make this box a surge protector. * Add an indicator light, thats very helpful. * we can have a master DP switch if needed * the hole on the box where the main 3 core wire comes out, edges will be sharp so having some rubber there will increase the life of that wire. Based on the need we can add all or some of the above. And also we all should know that the normal plug points switches on our wall will be 6 amp. So having 6 x 10 amp and using all at the same time which is connected to that 6 amp wall socket is not safe.

But the problem in this box is when u put three pin plug in top socket u can't put another plug in second row as well in 3rd row. So rearrange the plug socket by 3 in first 3 in third row switches in 2nd row. Or any way to place the socket inverse like two plug faces opp to each other. So that the wire from the plug don't disturb the opp plug head.

It's a very good product demo, pls add my recommendations too. I have done the same but with little enhancements. 1 sqmm is a thin wire so if you tight more it will gets damaged easily. Always use 1.5 sqmm. Anchor roma little costly but worth buying. Also you can try single coil wire instead of multi thin wires. Kudos 🎉 to engineering facts.

I have done a similar power box with relays connected to esp32 micro controller. ₹650 for 8 ch relay and controller. ₹10 for IR receiver ~₹550 for wooden switch box, cable and sockets. Old mobile charger for 5V power supply. I had to choose a wood+mica box for compact size. I paired it with Google home. Powerbox + Google home automation = 🔥🔥🔥 IR remote is useful during network downtime. Running fine with no issues since 2022

hi bro i am a EEE student now i am studying final year, in first year i bought a extension box for ₹1000 after 8 months it was not working so I opened the rear side and try to fix it but there is very thin single copper un insulated wire has been soldered unprofessionally. I am very shocked so i throw it away and i build my own extension box with wooden case with ILM board with kundhan sockets, switches and plug. Till today more than 3 years it is working fine no problem.
