300 Acre Flank - Iowa Pheasant Hunting 

Each adventure in the field offers the opportunity to learn and adjust hunting tactics. This property is nearly 300 acres of excellent CRP habitat. The plentiful and continuous cover allows birds to move in any direction, and we often find that most escape at the corners of the property. This day, we decided to send flankers to block the main escape. Total success is hard to gauge, especially with weary late season birds. Each success or failure is a useful tool for the next season.
