Love this kind of melodic instrumental hiphop, that's what I listen to when I grind. Scott Storch's beats are my favourite ones.

for the hand at 38:00, sgrigs1995 x/c turn donk-jam river is more like a "preemptive bet" than a donk bet bluff. Comes from some HoldEm books, when SPR is low, we can jam with hands that would have a tough decision as a bluff catcher against a polarized range, so we can take the initiative and "preemptively bet" the river. It's basically a very thin value bet, the play seems okay in theory, but i'm not sure about this example hand.

This content is beyond awesome!! Thank you Fernando :D I have one question for the first hand in a live enviroment. It's pretty common in my games that one guy pots, and it comes along a couple of callers. Given I have a hand like this T875 ds, I have tried to squeeze, but the squeeze does not work as live players do not fold against 3bets live. Ending up in a 3-5 way pot usually always, with very very low frequency of headsup. Given this information, is it exploitatively wise to consider calling or folding rather than 3bet squeezing ? (In this enviorment people do play very loose, and are not afraid to gamble with semibad holdings preflop. .. )
@JNandezPoker
@JNandezPoker 4 года назад
Good question. You should just fold preflop, unless your hand is VERY connected, in which case you should usually just call.

Great video! Thank you for everything you upload. I have a small question: A 0.3bb 3-bet spot is small, in your opinion? I would've thought that a 30bb/100 spot is relativ big. Is it because it's a 3-bet pot, that 0.3bb is a small spot? I doubt, you ever would fold a 0.3bb hand if it's folded to you on BTN, right?

Hey JNandez, great content as always! I noticed that double suited rundowns with one gap have slightly more equity preflop than zero-gappers, especially if the gap is in the middle (I ran my calculations against random AA and also against AKQJ). However, as you showed, in Monker Solver, zero-gappers have more EV. Do you have any idea where this discrepancy comes from? Is playability somehow taken into consideration by the solver?
@JNandezPoker
@JNandezPoker 4 года назад
Gapper hands can outdraw more AA when preflop all-in. But EV get's generated by also considering all postflop spots. In which case perfect rundowns have a higher EV as playability is better.

I play 2-2 live and it's $5 per half hour , how does that change your preflop ranges since there is no pot rake?
