In my opinion involving both a strong rear tail light with your brake light is dangerous. In other words the rear motorist behind you in there car is less likely to notice your brake light come on, because the other tail light is going to overpower it. It sends a mixed message to the motorist behind you which is exactly the opposite of riding safe. (You should really consider just getting a stronger aftermarket ''smart brake light'' ) it won't be as reliable in some ways because of the ''false alerts'' it gives by triggering the strong brake light whenever you go over a large pothole, but over all it's safer than double red light confusion from a motorist standpoint, and that's what really matters, getting rear ended is the # 1 cause of serious bike injury in the world.
