@@adderalutku4801 in 1922 you slaughtered kids and women, Greek, Armenian and Assyrian. Honor never touched your nation, not a single time. Gypsy pride is your honor.
Lord make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to harm me and mine. Let not my last thought be "If I only had my gun". And Lord if today is truly the day that you call me home? LET ME DIE IN A PILE OF EMPTY BRASS!
I can say that what both the ancient Greek Spartans did and what the ancient Celts who eventually formed the Irish and Scots did, fighting back with everything against impossible odds, still fills my heart with pride and rage at the same time today.

@@sportik2288 Этот альбом 1988 - Kings of Metal вообще мой любимый, особенно «Blood of the Kings» - такая сильная вещь!!!
as a greek i am proud this song is a tribute to the brave greeks who fought against overwhelming odds with pride and honor and won we did did not back down then and we wont now
+kingsarbkota You've got to remember the thousands of other people who were there. While mostly forgotten, there were two more detachments from other armies that stood with the 300 Spartans to delay the Persian army.
+Kapuchu That's true. I also wasn't talking only about the 300 at Thermopylae. Even almighty Rome couldn't take Sparta without tricking the generals into thinking the other was planning to kill him and take control of his forces afterwards
I praise the few resistance really MAN in this "modern" world with honour and real MAN with principles as GOD create us ….these are just a few!!! I am surely I am one of them...as MANOWAR members are!!!
ΗΕΥ STRANGER, TELL SPARTANS, THAT WE LIE DEAD HERE, FAITHFUL TO THEIR WORDS. This was written on a column, where the battle took place.
Unlike the Gillette ad, this song and video contains ACTUAL masculinity: - assertive - responsible - sacrificing - tough - proud - obedient to greater goals
We're Spartans Bruddah....never back down, never take shit from those that are wrong. Love hearing stories from my 93 year old Momma, who told me how the Greek resistance would corner and kill the nazi pussies who invaded Greece. Even though the Germans would kill 10 Greeks for every nazi killed. She told me how they tried to intimidate the Greeks by using their hollowed heads as lamps, which only infuriated even the super young, super old. They would find the coward nazis swinging like pinadas from the lamp posts in the morning. She said they could've killed them all, it would've never changed how the Spartans dealt with the "master race". After they killed my Grand Mother, two cousins in front of my Mom and her Family, as they did to many Families...and saw that the Greeks did not cower, they realized they had lost.
Aftermath of the greatest battle of all time: 80 000 persians 300 Spartans died during those 3 days. Approximately 1 Spartan took 270 persians souls to hell with him
shorelock homes his info is compeletly wrong tho , according to herodotus it was something like 1200 greeks and 4000 persians which is still impressive

The Battle of Thermopylae (/θərˈmɒpɪliː/ thər-MOP-i-lee; Greek: Μάχη τῶν Θερμοπυλῶν, Machē tōn Thermopylōn) was fought between an alliance of Greek city-states, led by King Leonidas of Sparta, and the Persian Empire of Xerxes I over the course of three days, during the second Persian invasion of Greece. It took place simultaneously with the naval battle at Artemisium, in August or September 480 BC, at the narrow coastal pass of Thermopylae ("The Hot Gates"). The Persian invasion was a delayed response to the defeat of the first Persian invasion of Greece, which had been ended by the Athenian victory at the Battle of Marathon in 490 BC. By 480 BC Xerxes had amassed a huge army and navy, and set out to conquer all of Greece. The Athenian politician and general Themistocles had proposed that the allied Greeks block the advance of the Persian army at the pass of Thermopylae, and simultaneously block the Persian navy at the Straits of Artemisium. A Greek force of approximately 7,000 men marched north to block the pass in the middle of 480 BC. The Persian army, alleged by the ancient sources to have numbered over one million, but today considered to have been much smaller (various figures are given by scholars, ranging between about 100,000 and 150,000),[10][11] arrived at the pass in late August or early September. The vastly outnumbered Greeks held off the Persians for seven days (including three of battle) before the rear-guard was annihilated in one of history's most famous last stands. During two full days of battle, the small force led by Leonidas blocked the only road by which the massive Persian army could pass. After the second day, a local resident named Ephialtes betrayed the Greeks by revealing a small path that led behind the Greek lines. Leonidas, aware that his force was being outflanked, dismissed the bulk of the Greek army and remained to guard their retreat with 300 Spartans and 700 Thespians, fighting to the death. Others also reportedly remained, including up to 900 helots and 400 Thebans; these Thebans mostly reportedly surrendered. Themistocles was in command of the Greek Navy at Artemisium when he received news that the Persians had taken the pass at Thermopylae. Since the Greek strategy required both Thermopylae and Artemisium to be held, given their losses, it was decided to withdraw to Salamis. The Persians overran Boeotia and then captured the evacuated Athens. The Greek fleet-seeking a decisive victory over the Persian armada-attacked and defeated the invaders at the Battle of Salamis in late 480 BC. Wary of being trapped in Europe, Xerxes withdrew with much of his army to Asia (losing most to starvation and disease), leaving Mardonius to attempt to complete the conquest of Greece. However, the following year saw a Greek army decisively defeat the Persians at the Battle of Plataea, thereby ending the Persian invasion. Both ancient and modern writers have used the Battle of Thermopylae as an example of the power of a patriotic army defending its native soil. The performance of the defenders is also used as an example of the advantages of training, equipment, and good use of terrain as force multipliers and has become a symbol of courage against overwhelming odds.
fun fact..In ancient sparta when the spartan warrior went to war his mother i think told him a famous phrase before he leave "ἢ τὰν ἢ ἐπὶ τᾶς" meaning you will return with your shield or no your shield(dead). No surrender
Watching this film, I came to the conclusion that I was born at the wrong time. Today's men are not only gay, but cowards. The men of old fought without fear, until death.
Greece, the cradle of Western Civilization, the only Civilization I care about. Rome, as a son who outshines the father, as any father should want, ensured that Civilization. France, Spain, England and the people of Europe cemented that Civilization into the foundation of the earth. America, the land that I love, protected it, in its dying days. Yes I say that in the past tense. For we have forgotten and forsaken what made Western Civilization possible. What allowed the great philosophers and scientists of our Civilization to prosper and advance. What is that you may ask? We have allowed our warrior heritage to be minimized to the point where it is called evil. If you cannot defend a thing? That thing is not yours. You are just holding on to that thing till someone comes along and takes it from you. We all die, every one of us. It is our lot blessed to us by God Himself, yes blessed. How will you die? No one knows the time or manner. How you will be remembered? Now that is exactly up to you and nobody else.
for some of you who write bad things about us and about my country Greece - Hellas. i would like to inform you that we from 6000 BC till today never had peace for more than 70 years in a row..... never....... we were fighting for freedom/culture/family and many more..... we above all others are those who gave the world's civilization. even those who oppose us lives, think, talk, writes as Greeks. you are Hellenized and you should be proud of that. the world will never die as long as Greece still stands. it is true that we have many people in Greece who does not deserved to be called clever and etc but just think, my fathers for example died in a war that we didn't start. they died in the second world war. they defended Greece but also Europe and the rest of the world. their children grew up without education and many luxuries that yours had. they grew without joy and their only need was to survive from starvation and disaster.... of course they screw up since they didn't have somebody to teach them about Aristotle and such...... but the seed will produce the same fruit, in years to come!!!! we will be what we were, we are Dorians and Dorians never yield or die, if you look at the DNA and etc Dorians are everywhere as we were the most expanding type of Humen. Dorians were the Spartans and even Macedonians, Alexander the great was a Dorian type of human and not slav as nowdays skopje wants to present. Leonide was a Dorian and you think you know of Greece but in truth Leonidas is not the most famous Spartan. we had great kings such as Agisilaos, Agis, Alexandridas, Pausanias and many more!!!!! that you don't even know their achievments. many people hates us and that's alright with us, we are pleased to see people who speaks my language live my culture to hate me..... its funny!!!! and as a Great Spartan soldier said which his name was Dikenis - then we will fight in shadow. well the same goes now we will leave among your hate. we have no problem with that. we will overcome all problems and trust me the economical ones are not ours, its also yours it just happens the stone to be on our table but soon it will be at yours and then you will understand the reality. the big kings needs to die otherwise our goverment will be corrupted and we will live a life under their command. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE ALL HELLENES, YOU ARE ALL DESCENDANT OF SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!! AND WHAT WE ALWAYS WANTED WAS TO LIVE WITH ALL OF YOU IN PEACE AS WE EMBRACE YOU AS BROTHERS AND SISTERS. AS SPARTANS YOU MUST WATCH THE watch?v=MGWiBOqoFPc and you will understand a lot about your religion and etc etc and who is behind all this. if i find it in English version i ll upload it here.
Bring Me The Burrito To die in battle is the most horrible death a man can hope for, on your terms, on your feet, with your brothers; for something greater than yourself.
