My opinion, for what these trikes cost, it would be foolish to purchase if you aren't mechanically inclined so you can fix the numerous problems that seem to arise with them.
MR. GREEN hi there, well in Texas you must have a "motorcycle" license, insurance and registration because it is over 200cc. This trike is 300cc & I'm not sure about the laws in other states but, Texas is strict.
Seems to me the extra wheel, tire and suspension adds to much extra weight . 2 wheeler with 300cc's would be faster . Do like the reverse feature though .
Yes .. it varies by state I think but it’s around 149-200 cc or lower you don’t need a license … I have a 400cc 2 wheel scooter … you have to get a motorcycle license. I don’t think you can use a scooter For A motorcycle license test … I did the motorcycle class at a local collage that taught you how to ride on 250cc bikes … they aren’t automatic .. it was 2 Days 8 hours a day and I got the card saying I passed and took that to the dmv and handed it in and got my motorcycle license ..
This trike could probably go on the freeway … my scooter went well over 100 up hill … it is 100cc more so I feel like the trike could get up to 75 or more
@Conrad Saylor where exactly to look cause I want one badly and I want something that turns like a car and I will be going up hills and I want to pull around 400 lbs ?
If I were you I would get the can and ryker rally 900 version .. it’s automatic … and it’s. A lot big company than the make of this one and you should have atleast one place in your town or Near that have can am ryker rally’s 900 they have one smaller but if you are trying to haul stuff up hill I would get that .. those you need a motorcycle license and register and insure it and helmet and all that .. also don’t forget when you are looking at the prices most the time they don’t have a wind shield or trunk on the back so ask about those .. wind shield should be a given but for some reason it isn’t … you don’t want to ride with no windshield it’s not fun ..
