Danny McGee if this was nick wright he’d start to show you footage , then you’d have to sit through 10 minutes of talking and background on his squat and how his father could only squat 35 pounds and his grandpa could only squat 20 pounds and how his family has bad genetics for squatting. Then his girlfriend comes in the frame and he flirts with her for another five minutes while talking about his meal prep and throwing in an ad for some sort of protein powder or something he’s sponsored by . Finally after this it switches to the car outside the gym and he’s talking about what he’s going to do when he goes inside for another five Minutes’s. Finally after nearly 20 minutes he goes inside and hits he squat then tells you he already did it but didn’t get it on camera . Lol.
@@guccigang6984 Gotta confuse the barbell eh, so you don't know how much you're squatting either. All you know is that if you go down, you better get back up.
661 pounds? that would, no kidding, be a feat in and of itself. If you were strong enough to do that you would probably be in range of actually squatting it honestly.
@@Tyguy161 noo i used to be able to unrack 300kg and rack it but not squat it the pressure is unreal. That was when i used to be able to squat 245.5kg for a double.
Hi clarence! nice lift. just thought I would give you some advice though - don't cave your knees in, as it can cause a serious injury. I am a personal trainer for planet fitness and have trained many clients, so I have lots of experience with weightlifting. the Smith machine may be beneficial for someone like you. also, use a pad to avoid discomfort caused by the dangerous steel barbell.
Hahaha. Reminds me of a sarcastic photo caption of salimi and his inward knee cave "Hi World Record Holder in the Snatch, are you aware that your glutes are weak?"
@Park Justin I’d be pretty surprised if he didn’t, this is an incredibly high risk high reward lift. Clarence is an absolute god for pulling this shit off, honestly, the dude must be a long lost descendant of Zeus. I know if I were able to pull a lift like this off I’d be having one or more sleeping tablets to try to guarantee I sleep like a rock to recover, I’d want at least 9 - 12 hours of sleep if I could get it. I remember that I slept for 13 uninterrupted hours after I completed my 2nd half marathon, that is a LONG sleep, but hey, running 21,000 metres without stopping in 1 hour and 40 minutes will do that to you lol.
@@arthurfleck629 , many decades ago i'd follow my older brother when he went out for a run , down the street, into the large park, up the hills and it was not long into the park when i just tired out . No doubt half a marathon deserves a long rest, i've never been able to run half that far, i was fast when younger but distances i couldn't do. Yea i think some of us are just born with more stamina, my brother was an ox pretty much, strong and athletic. This guy Clarence is gifted
+John Doe No he is not natty but that doesn't take away his accomplishments he has been squating everyday for 6-8 years + dont know exactly but i use to follow him when he was just starting.
Samurai Squat True, if you are a natural and you been training years it's very easy to pick out the steroid users. Here are the hints : Muscles big and full at 10-5% bodyfat a natty wil not have full muscles at that low bodyfat. abnormal big muscle that is bigger or close to as big as the best ''natural'' bodybuilders. Never gains fat while eating alot, Low bodyfat year round, Trains light gains alot of muscle, makes abnormal weight gains example 160-190 in 1 month or less, and the easiest of them all big shoulders / lats / forearms / traps this is the easiest hint of steroid use / abuse the shoulders in naturals are almost never ''builders'' Naturals bodybuilders only look ''hard'' when they flex if they don't flex they look untrained. The reason clearance is on steroids is wants to compete in the olympics he knows that's the only way. He trained 8 years + to get to this point. His body is shaped like a bodybuilder and he is way to heavy at low bodyfat ( natty limits). His quads are to big even for a olympic lifter. And last he squats heavier then steroid abuser powerlifter record holders ATG that should say inof A hard look is also a hint on steriod abuse think olympic weightlifters.. That's right in the past people were strong but steriods been around since 1950 so don't think the werent on annything. The older generation was also way stronger because in that time they had to work on farms withouth machines carrying 100 kilos on the shoulders and things like that.
Dude, I'd seriously pay to watch you train. Have you thought about offering seminars or tutorials? There's a lot of people in Ireland alone who'd pay good money for one.
Holy shit, holy shit, I've watched this video multiple times in the past, and only just now did it hit me how fucking heavy that is! You weigh between 80-100kg, so that's at least 3x body weight. That's insane. That's insane. That's insane.
Klokov reports a 320 squat and 335 deadlift in his prime, weighing 120 kgs. Clarence could likely squat this if he didn't pause, and he can definitely deadlift 335. Weighing much less. Klokov obviously has his presses and 500 lb push press going for him, though.
Dude, you're scaring all of us with your crazy strength! ;o but really, your determination, resolve and unreal strength motivate all of us to keep pushing ourselves to our max potential. Keep lifting man, you inspire all of us :)
Clarence, you are what I aspire to be as a lifter. I squatted 400 lbs ATG raw today for a PR but watching you motivated me to work harder. Keep doing what you're doing bro!
No headphones/music, no knee sleeves/wraps, no spotters, Full ROM ATG perfect form squat with a little pause at the bottom, with 300 kg on the bar. Gahhdaymm mans a specimen🫡💪
Out of interest, have you ever thought about doing a twitch stream for your training sessions? Imagine all the tips from creepy san francisco crossfit dudes.
This is extremely impressive to say the least. Even if this was a 300kg. low bar squat with pause at hes BW it's insane, and this is high bar ATG O_O. Pound for pound Clarence makes some of the most crazy ass lifts found/seen anywhere period. Imagine what he can do in a few years - He has been bulking a lot lately, less than 2 years ago, i think he only weight around 90 kg. + he was out a few month due to some injury if i recall correct. I cant wait to see whats gonna happen if he can stay injury free and then compete in a few years at the olympics perhaps as a 94/105 kg lifter. Ilya Ilyin better start watching out soon ^^
Well that's clearly a lie. that would be 1.9681929e+12 seconds of media consumption, or 379,256.935207 calendar years. You have not been alive that long. The video "300kg/661lbs Pause ATG Backsquat 100% RAW" hasn't been posted long enough for you to have had that many watch throughs. I don't like liars. You make me sick!
+JameswwPC Must be 'parallel' depth as well. So, I guess Clarence is pretty much the strongest guy pound for pound compared to everyone in the 100kg class
***** Just looking out for ya. I noticed that knee sleeves help keep my knees warm and compressed during the squat and also help with an easier recovery post training, that's just my preference though. Hope the knees are feeling well.
Yeah, cause if you do this alone and on a flimsy rack your setting a bad example.good for failure reels though. P.s. noone really knows what that weight was.
This guy looks like a normal really I. Shape dude and just kills it!! Compared to big belly powerlifters ; how can one have that physique and still be so strong?! Goku?
I was actually surprised that his calf muscles didn't look particularly big, although most people don't work out calves with enough frequency to get them to grow.
