Correct, but that 4 spoke wheel would have been the airbag wheel. The one fitted to this UK specification car however is what you'd class a 'stock 90 wheel'. In the UK, the airbag fitment wasn't an option or standard feature, so it is a 3 spoke wheel in this instance.

Correct again. Safety regulations in America were much more stringent from those in the UK and Europe at the time and still are today.

The steering wheel is straight. The fourth connection to the wheel is in shadow.
