Hey, fix it. I just stumbled upon your channel and found that you got a lot of videos for the z32 300zx. I have a 1996 NA z32 which is actually owned by my parents but I'm hoping to receive ownership of it someday. Anyways I was just gonna ask some questions. I always try to clean it and make it look good. Its in pretty decent condition and runs well but hasn't had any real recent maintenance. It has small body issues like dents and scratches and stuff. However, on the lower lip, there is a crack maybe as long as 2-3 inches. I was wondering if you had some advice like using bumper repair adhesive or buying a new lip altogether or smth like that. Also, I was wondering if you ever did a pressure washer steam or spray clean on the engine and engine bay or how I could clean it. I have some more issues like dry-rotted wiper cowls and rubber trim seals for doors and basically the whole car but I think I may be able to handle those. I'm really sorry for making this such a large comment and I may have some more questions in the future. I'm a car person and know a decent amount about JDMs and stuff but I don't have much real experience but I just love the 300zx and learn as much as I can about it. Anyways thanks, man!

Hey I’m glad to hear that you took a liking to the z32. As far as body work Im horrible at it 😂 I’m going to be attempting to do the bodywork on this Z but I’ll be learning alone with anyone else watching. Me personally I got another lip to go over the messed up lower part of the bumper. And as far as the engine bay pressure washing I’m usual against it. Normally just causes more problems with these old car’s fragile wiring harness but if you were going to be doing it just try and avoid as much of the electrical as possible with seems impossible with all the wires it has. Cover up what you can like the fuse box and alternator. I’ve gone as far as blowing air into connectors to make sure there’s no water in places I don’t want it

@@fixitish Yea I was thinking about covering the alternator and wiring which also means the fuse box but my parents were preferring to get it professionally done. Thanks for your words man. I hope this channel gets big. I personally think that your content is underrated and you post so often which is kinda sick. I appreciate it anyways.

I’ve had car professionally detailed before end up with misfires end engine codes so they mess up too lol thanks for watching these videos I know they can be a bit boring at times but I try and focus more on the technical parts of it but I’m still glad some people are enjoying them and getting the info they need from them.

@@fixitish No problem bro. It's ok imma try to fully watch the videos you post because I see that from your channel you have a lot of experience with 300zxs (z31 and z32) I'm just glad I found a small content creator who makes most of their videos on the z32, and uploads constantly. It's more than I could have hoped for. I need to thank you bro.

@@fixitish I'm just wondering, how did you get your knowledge on automotive engineering, especially on the 300zx from the beginning? I have a pretty good understanding of automotive engineering being a huge car person, but I feel like I wouldn't know how to do what you do without a bit of help. I see you can do self-repairs to your 300zx and have a great understanding of it. I'm hoping later on in my life to get a degree in mechanical engineering and specialize in automotive engineering but I'm trying to learn as much as I can currently. I just wanna know how you know all this stuff. By the way I found it kinda cool that you have the 300zx hotwheels on the wall lol. I have one of the 300zx ones
