it's something... you know what? this makes an awesome event space. Like a wedding house or something. The staircase is perfect great for grand entrances. Like Cinderella!
@@dwaynemcfarland3240 people rent homes for event spaces often, actually Dwayne. Some people have homes that match their lives and their lives accommodate many people. I love a cozy home as well but on occasion, grandeur is on the menu. You can have your subdivision... I'll have a house or so there too. 😎 I'm a Boss, boy.
Most disgustingly cramped bathrooms i have ever seen in a house this big.. this house has got no class or character.. doesn't even look like a house..aargh
Not to mention it looks like it's in the middle of nowhere, a pretty looking nowhere, but nowhere non the less😂 imagine someone breaking in and needing help? Oh hell nah, ain't nobody coming for daaaaays.... literally 🤣
Who designed this house....it doesn't flow and are they allergic to bath tubs one full bathroom in the entire house, with so much wasted space it's like the rooms and bathrooms were an after thought. I think it was a man who thought he was a designer with some money to toss around screaming I want this and I want that there and there, the poor builder just got fed up and lost the damn plot! "EGO"
the floor plan is unique, not your typical bungalow. but, there is so much space wasted. I mean the dining areas have 6 seating tables, but they're the size of a table to seat 20. maybe if everything was downsized, then it wouldn't look so weird. I feel like they had way too much money and didn't know how to spend it. Plus, there is no warmth....the colors are just too neutral
I have never seen so much space used in a house to have the end result be a complete nightmare..no aesthetic appeal at all.. their best bet would have been to turn it into an inn or something like that but given the appalling bathrooms even that's ruled out..so much money down the drain
Mendosa Sama me too I think the owners must have been moved out for a long time that’s why it “lacks warmth” nobody is going to stage that in a way that includes tons of furniture.
Dumb floor plan for a home, looks like a commercial space not a home. Too empty with space for no reason and I want a huge dream home but this is just ridiculous. Bad flow.
Xuxi Jongin right! The end of the gallery, with the chairs. Windows you can’t see out of? What? They need to be huge, so you can sit and complicate nature. So agree with you.
@@moonchild1432 for the ones who did buy it didn't put any character or warmth in it and instead wasted so much space and everything is creepy so your comment is stupid.
I love this house. There so many comments about the space and the layout. I would think that whoever buys this home would decorate and add their character to each room.
It's nice and spacious probably too spacious! Like the master bedroom, it's just a bunch of dead, unusable space. Plus that downstairs area (whatever you call that) make it seem more like a business than a home.
That is the type of place, if bought to use as a home, for people who have so much money that they don't know what the hell to do with it. Every room in the place is so gigantic that it's creepy. Reminds me of that monstrous fireplace in Citizen Kane, just downright creepy. The proper necessity I could see it only be used for is some type of office/business facility.
I personally love all this space!! It just needs some updating, some remodeling, some new furniture...and a dang elevator!! This could work if you have a big family and like hosting a lot of parties! You just have to have some imagination to work the space with a bit better flow! And let's not forget to hire a cleaning staff to take care of this place (and hire a chef too.....what me cook, if I can afford this place heck no!!)😊
Yes, an elevator is a must but I could live in this all by myself. After this pandemic, I can think of plenty of uses for each and every one of these rooms. Aside from grocery shopping for specific items that I can't get from delivery services, I'd never have to leave my home.
I love the structure of the house. There would be some changes to the decoration. 1. Color and accsesorios that give life to the house. 2. Rooms: Furniture according to size, color in walls and accessories, update bathrooms. 3: Main room: Large bed, light sets, color, sofa grane, TV cabinet, furniture for and reading lamp, breakfast table, open space for terrace, larger bathtub. 4. Dining room: for about 10 people, color, carpet, table. 5: Social area: In a single space TV room, game tables, bar. 6. Yoga area: A complete gym. 7. Space for study or library. 8. Play space for children. 9. Expansion of some windows. 10. In the gardens, flowers that adapt to the climate. Fill the house with love, joy and children.
I take heart that whoever buys this will have enough money to tear this house down and build something spectacular. The descending staircase is something I would consider keeping. Oh and build a ballroom to the right 😀
For the size of the place, it just feels off somehow. Think it’s a combination of the decorating (and lack of), wasted space, low ceilings, and the huge opening combined with the bedrooms that all have the same layouts and the same bathrooms. Just gave it a cold, hotel like, closed in feel.
Russell Davis I have to disagree. I like having a more cozy carpet in a bedroom. I would rather have hardwood flooring in dining rooms and living rooms. I do understand it is just an opinion and I’m stating mine. Have a great day!
It gives them a chance to install yet another hardwood floor colour, I count 4 so far, why not go for say a different shade for each room? We could take the home to 20 different hardwoods if planned right. Giggle
A prime example of bigger not being better. Looks like a funeral home that doubles as a motel. This is what happens when rich people piss off their architects. I would have loved to be around when the tradespeople were putting this thing together. The jokes they cracked must have been be pure gold!
It would make a great Bed & Breakfast place. I think people who buy these types of houses get in way over their heads, that it's impossible to keep up with the mortgage and land taxes. As the saying goes " they bite off more then they can chew! " And then there's the added extra costs of hydro too. But besides all that it's a beautiful house....
Half this house is wasted space. So what are you suppose to do with the main floor, we don't have ballrooms anymore, such a weird layout. There's only one tub in 14,838 sq. ft. Where are you suppose to bathe the kids?
Having money doesn't mean you have class and this house certainly shows it. The bathrooms are tiny except in one bedroom where its larger but for reasons lost on me they chose to cram the toilet, shower and sink together in a corner, you can literally have a seat and brush your teeth. It looked like it had potential from the outside but inside ..cheap gimmick hotel
This is such a gigantic house. I would be scared to death to live here with my young family of four :{ well 4th is on the way.... perhaps if you live in a joint family system this will be ideal for them.
At first I was amazed at the entry way but quickly had a change of heart as the design is just big square rooms with no decor. This is built like a hotel or air bnb for a large amount of people. Not a fan.
This honestly looks more like an art gallery or museum, or at least a fake historical display house that they use to show how people lived back on the day, not a real home.
Beautiful house. The master bedroom brought smile on my face, don't know why. It's a really "BEAUTIFUL" house. May GOD bless the owners with more success so that they can own more such beautiful houses.
Blocky, cold, sterile, unimaginative. It's far larger than it needs to be. As if they were building it for giant people? Quelle wasted space all over the place! And what were they thinking with those teeny tiny windows throughout? It's as if they didn't really want to see outside. More bunker than bungalow and more money than taste.
To the home owners who live here now, good luck to furnishing and maintaining this place. Delivered here 3 months ago of this year and well the steps to the front door are tiring as hell.
What a piss poor design. Why not have the foyer level to welcome guests into the centre space. Have the stairs to the bedroom levels on the left and right? Why does EVERY BATH have a neo-angle shower (quite possibly the worst design ever, if you have the space) why does the master bath have 2 showers (angle again) and what is with the toilet in that glass room? Acoustical problem there!! Why did they not invest in the same hardware or at least the same style through? Brass handles and brushed nickel lever handles within the same area??? Common sped a little to get a little... did I mention the “on sale” cheapest hardware store hollow core pressboard doors?? And finally, what’s with all the different tones of hardwood floors? One room has a few, it does not work. The staggers need to be fired, and the interior designer needs to loose their business, Just saying.....
so beautiful, just wish the ‘guest bedrooms’ were a little bigger as well as the en-suites. most people would say it’s wasted space but i like bigger bedrooms.
