scale 1/5th buggy , wheelbase 560mm, tires 185mm
setup : homemade conversion on 12s ( hobbywing max5 g2 + hobbywing 800kv motor )
i bought this buggy here : fearlessrc.com...
as a losi 5ive B user, i think the BWS 5b is a 75% clone with lots of identical parts. and it is a good thing as i love the sadly discontinued 5ive B !
the bws runs good, the stock tires work good. i added hex extenders for more stability

well thanks to you for selling a 600usd 1/5th buggy roller ! that's a LOT of RC for the price !! that's all i wanted ! please make a brushless conversion kit, people will love it !

thank you ! 12s is awesome and this buggy is actuzlly quite light. it held my bashing, but i didn't crash. shocktowers and wing mount will probably not like crashes !

thanks. it's true, if i didn't build my own stuff, i would not have bought it ! fun fact : hobbywing used this car to put in their 70x125mm motor !! you can see it in their advertising

en fait je le regarde depuis des années et je l'ai toujours trouvé moche ! mais élargi et rabaissé, ça passe ! et à 600usd, c'est pas cher

thanks. i've been looking at these too for a while and the v1 wing always stopped me ! but fearlessRC offers v2 parts ! v2 wing and springs are included ! much better !

2:43 12s home made conversion… where’s the rear drive shaft? Also did you fit a center diff, instead of the slipper clutch?

yes, i prefered to put a center diff. i didn't have a motor mount that would fit the stock slipper clutch. i also didn't use the stock other part from the transmission to save weight. my motor mount and spur gear are made by a chinese CNC workshop

oh it can handle 12s, some folks use it for speed runs. i ran it often on 12s and no damage yet

do you know how to convert it ? a 1/5th short course is a complete different world from a xmaxx ! no more wheelies, no more backflips !! but there is something fun about moving this heavy 1/5th. if you can, go 12s !

@@stephanez8036 ya my buddy has a 12s 5t and just got the 560kv hw. So he's giving me his old motor mount with a castle 800kv on it. Love my xmaxx but have a completely built 6s outcast for the crazy backflips wheelies etc.
