I got this one in a surprise sample pack and inked it up. Ehhhh makes a good highlighter. But not my favorite for sure. I like little bit more legible greens. And I loooove my greens.

Diamine Jade green is very similar to Hotaru-bi

I’ve been using it in a finer nib and can confirm it’s not legible for me. But I do concur that it has lovely shading esp in the splats :)

Sad to say, I think this ink color would give me a headache. Trying to read it. But the ink splat was gorgeous.

I made edits to a letter of recommendation that my husband was working on. He was so mad. He couldn’t read “this yellow ink!” I had to do it all over again.

Oh wow! Yeah, I've been wondering what it would look like if I added a touch of Chiku-rin to this one just to improve the legibility. That test will have to wait until after I use all the inks this month, though.
