Hey, that generator cannot generate 30kW. Not even 2kW. A guy used the same generator for a watewheel and the generator failed to deliver 2kW. 1st video of the series (of 5): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7l5xxIGiW7o.html

@@diytech4522 Yes, it can but a very high cost (melting/burning the generator). Going back to the serie of videos I pointed to you, in the 3rd video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DInwut0DzTQ.html) you can see that he's getting about 1.2kW at a BIG flowrate (about 600 RPM). Of course, the generator will melt at that speed. He decreased the flowrate of the wheel, so he got about 750W and the temp was almost 80ºC at 500 RPM. That's not good at all. The generator it's rated for 2kW but has trouble generating 750W. So, not a good generator...

​@@mcksysar8620I'm not saying it's a good generator. Its a bad one and doesn't generate near what is specified for at the rated RPM because of the bad design especially around the winding's size. But with the tweak where I used transformers you can get a sizeable amount of output without overheating. As long as the current draw doesn't exceed 1 amp the IIR losses will be fathomable. He was drawing a lot of current from it causing it to overheat. But overall, a bad generator for the ratings they have specified. Nowhere near it. Not to mention the lack of active cooling among other things.
