Out of curiosity, do you use a seakeeper? One of those gyro stabilizers? Would aid in the sideways rocking.

Arrested Development because for snapper, they are all born as females to start with and once they get to a certain part in their life they change sex’s and become males, so the larger snapper tend to be the breeders, that’s why I usually don’t keep the super large snapper I catch because there tends to not be as many large ones as big ones.
