Japanese people just love using what they think are cool sounding foreign words, even if they don't make sense in context. As someone who is also a fan of Star Wars and Warhammer, westerners are also guilty of this lol.

Cool sounding foreign words triggers the edginess/chuunibyou on one's heart. Marketing teams knows cool sounding names sells better. Just look at all the "gamer" pc parts, most have names like Fuuma, Gugnir, Kotetsu, Aegis, Bifrost, Raijin, Panzer, etc.

Best guess I could give is lore wise this exmac uses tech from the new maxion forces, maybe stranger is an allusion to it's use of another civilizations technology?

@@First-Name_Last-Name But most of those have some significant meaning in the cultures they're from: Norse mythology, Shinto mythology, German tanks, etc...

@@flamezombie1 I never stated at any point that the name had no meaning in my previous comment. My previous comment was stating that people tend to use foreign cool/edgy sounding names in their PC product for marketing purposes without knowing the meaning/origin/purpose of the name in the first place. Like how is a cuboid shaped PC case named Gungnir is relatable to the shape of a spear, or it's myth? Or how Raijintek who primarily makes PC coolers but only ONE psu since the company was formed, are not instead named Fujintek?
