I remember watching this when it happened and it is even worse now. This chick doesn't know what the hell she is talking about and didn't deserve this gig whatsoever. She is walking around and trying to pull shit out of her ass without being informed. Look at her flounder at trying to name the artists on the wall at 10:45 - she didn't even know them. I recall being sad because it was the first time that I had to face the unavoidable fact that Prince had surrounded himself with young people who were not really that good in an effort to stay relevant with their demographic. He was getting older - which was wonderful when you consider his late work such as Rainbow Children. But then he resorted to youngsters like this chick and Joshua Welton and suddenly it was Prince through the filter of the unqualified and inexperienced - not Prince doing everything himself they way it had been since the beginning (and I am an old school fan from the beginning).

@@godzchild2004 I read somewhere that Prince had her work on the cover art for Art Official Age. I like that cover and if she had something to do with that, I will give her credit. But she is uninformed and woefully unqualified for this. It is silly but it makes me angry because I would have been far better and would have cherished that opportunity as I am a fan since 1978.
@@christophertracy2807 Yeah the silly woman was given the gig to photograph Prince for his album. She is on youtube talking after his death about spending time at PP and how he was "too much" whatever that means.
Prince performed with Kendrick many times at PP They were going to record together but Prince backed out because Kendrick was using swear words. You know Prince turned all saintly when he become a JW

The 3rd Eye Girl drummer was incredible!! Glad we got to hear her!! A lot of this was muted. Which is sad. The last song Thankful is trash. Waste of time hearing it.
TEG was kinda what it was. 3 YT musicians who got the chance to jam with Prince for a few years. They lacked the confidence and command that all P's other bands had. It was like a class which is cool. But not so electrifying> i feel like P had his hands full trying to keep these musicians on task. The vibe is off ever so slightly
He could have threw that gig to ANY of his truer fans... instead of a new love interest ...A person like me would have not stopped talking about his legacy ....lol

Having to learn over 100 songs is absurd. How long does that take? He worked his musicians so hard! The girls are beautiful though. As usual. I KNOW Prince didn't come up with that garbage the sax man played with the band. Talk about a complete lack of creativity and taste!! They shouldn't have been allowed to play that at Paisley Park. It was awful. Smooth Jazz in general is garbage. How can any of it be associated with Prince? If he actually liked it shame on him.
I wouldn't say it was his worst band but it always felt like he was there as a teacher and they were like his students. It didn't come across as a band effort like the revolution or his SOTT/lovesexy band.
I hate that was his last band. It always sounded like a lot of noise to me but I know he liked rock. 40 year career and people will remember 3 eye girl because it was his last band. SAD
