👍I had to look that one up I haven't seen one in person. it is interesting to see the early ones back when they were trying different ideas. Almost all unique depending on the options even back then!
That's awesome!!! Impressive how long these machines will last if you maintain and take care of them. I work on about 6 or 7 90's model front deck grasshopper's. I think the oldest one is probably 91 or 92. Just curious if you know if it's original engine and pumps.im sure the engine is. the 3 cylinder Kubota will about out last the mower. Great engine and great mower they go good together 👍
I like Kubota engine they sound nice! Not bad if that's all you've had to do for being a 91. Most of the parts are still available if you have grasshopper dealer close they could print you some parts diagrams and maybe help see what is making it uneven. Some of those have a lock mechanism that would cause it to be uneven and is hard to figure out what it is and how it works without the diagram. If you do go by a dealer the tractor and the deck both have thier own serial number the dealer will need both
Got a 1991 725 with a wg750 , had to replace right side Gemini 603845 , fluids are next etc. rebuilt the seat with advantek subfloor and original covers. Hopefully it doesn’t have the charging issues. I hear fuseblocks can go bad might need replace the block , any suggestions
It's amazing to me they can last that long mowers take a beating most people hope to get 5 years. I work on several 30+ year old grasshoppers. shows what kind of machine they build when you see so many of them still going strong. If your not having charging or electrical issues I wouldnt mess with the block try to keep it inside or covered and blowed off to keep from having electrical problems. Make sure your rubber intake boot is good. Working on one the other day I noticed where it clamps on to the intake manifold it was cracked around the clamp allowing it to suck dirt in after the air cleaner. Check your radiator hoses, fuel lines, carrier bearings, motor mounts on the older ones. Make sure you haven't had any engine cradle bolts back out. Check Carrier bearings and the drive belt and drive belt idlers get overlooked. Where did you find a pump?
