Il Premio Vermentino di Diano Castello è una kermesse prestigiosa, giunta alla 31° edizione. È un concorso che premia le migliori aziende vinicole italiane. Quest'anno sono in gara ben 145 etichette, provenienti da 94 aziende di 7 diverse regioni. Un record!
Tra queste, anche il toscano “Baci sulla bocca", prodotto da Sting, e il Vermentino di Luni “Etichetta nera”, inserito nella carta dei vini del ristorante di Casa Italia, la residenza dei nostri atleti olimpici a Parigi.
La partecipazione delle cantine del Ponente Ligure, è ovviamente ben nutrita, con 32 etichette presenti.
I Visitatori possono degustare i vini in gara acquistando il bicchiere portatile. Sono serviti dai sommelier della Fisar Liguria.
Il Premio Vermentino è anche laboratori didattici di degustazione, dove esperti insegnano al pubblico come gustare il vino, facendo attenzione a tutti i suoi profumi, aromi e sapori. C'è anche un laboratorio emozionale di produzione del pesto, la specialità forse più nota della cucina ligure.
Tra tante bontà, c'è spazio anche per la cultura, con la partecipazione del Museo Civico Dianese e del Fai. Facciamo un salto nell'antica Roma per vedere come si produceva il vino e anche come si faceva un'altra specialità romana: la guerra.
In occasione del Premio Vermentino vengono organizzate anche visite guidate al borgo medievale, che è uno dei più belli d’Italia, e tante altre iniziative.

The Premio Vermentino in Diano Castello is a prestigious event, now in its 31st edition. It is a competition that rewards the best Italian wineries. This year, 145 labels are competing, coming from 94 companies from 7 different regions. A record!

Visitors can taste the competing wines by purchasing the portable glass. They are served by the sommeliers of Fisar Liguria.
The Vermentino Prize is also an educational tasting workshop, where experts teach the public how to taste wine, paying attention to all its aromas and flavours. There is also an emotional laboratory for the production of pesto, perhaps the best-known specialty of Ligurian cuisine.

On the occasion of the Vermentino Prize, guided tours of the medieval village, which is one of the most beautiful in Italy, and many other initiatives are also organised.
