Fun fact Seth MacFarlane was scheduled to be on one of the planes during the 9/11 tragedy. He missed his flight for a reason I cannot remember and the rest is history. It's crazy to think that we very nearly lost Seth MacFarlane in 2001, if we would have ,their would be only two seasons of Family Guy.

These are really funny. I think nowadays my issue on the subject of “it’s comedy, you’re not supposed to take it seriously” is that the “wrong” people take the “wrong” things seriously. The Bill Burr “no reason to hit a woman” bit, in the context of an entire set, is hilarious, as long as we don’t take it seriously - of course, when Oprah said “no reason” she meant “no justification” and she only referred to scenarios in which men are stronger and the power dynamic wouldn’t put a man in fear of danger. And when Bill Burr said it, “reason” meant literally causality in fact, and Bill has been on record saying that in reality he wouldn’t hit a woman unless she stormed at him with a chainsaw or something (I definitely personally heard him say that but can’t remember where). The problem is too many men took his contrarian schtick seriously and took his bit as applicable rationale to justify misogyny, and they giddily share it with one another, and think “you got them feminazis good, Bill.” I think nowadays when I’m thinking certain jokes are problematic, I usually don’t judge the comedian’s intent, I just worry that fools might not get it and might get less smarter.

People overlook it cause its garbage. The characters suck now, the ego of the show is so far up its ass and the humor is just boring now its a shell of what it used to be. It was painful to hear all this praise. The writing is also inconsistant
