Thank you for sharing your photographs & words with us Marty. I am glad that you seem to have recovered from your illness. I believe that for photographers, the act of practicing our craft each day is in essence, a type of restorative therapy for us. How blessed our we to have to share our gift with others? Having grown up and lived in Windsor and Detroit for most of my life, this was a wonderful look at my home through different eyes, and the narration was beautiful as well!

It's very interesting that Marty puts his horizon right in the middle on so many of his photographs, landscape or otherwise. Many "judges" might knock that decision down, but I think it fills an aesthetic that defines the artist here.

Some excellent images - I particularly like the way they are presented with the shaded border on a white background - which programme is used for this?
