Sephiroth boss battle theme, from the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis: The First Soldier OST. I do not own anything in this video - I am simply uploading the song for listening pleasure.
Young Sephiroth to Future Sephiroth: "I know... We are one in the same, you and I. But you've lost me, and I've lost you. Yet we are connected, by that one feeling. "While thy branches mix with mine, and our roots together join.""
I like adult Sephiroth looks tired after defeating so many enemies, reminding us that he is still a Human, he is not Invincible, the fact that he gets up to continue fighting and save the common Soldiers, and that in the fight against the boss your life never drops below 1 hp, it is appreciated so that the epic moment of Sephiroth fighting to the end to save everyone does not die
I won't be surprised if he does in Part 3 or a future update that shows a new season storyline set after events of Part 3 or during Part 3. Sephiroth older self represented a lot of his evils when he became consumed by madness that probably lead to him forgetting about Glenn but his younger self represented the Good that he found in life when he met Glenn that allowed him to find a place beyond being just a Weapon and what eventually lead him to become a Hero.
I've theorized that since Cloud faced him solo in Remake, then him and Zack in Rebirth, somehow good version of Sephiroth will be the 3rd party member. I just have this weird feeling and because we've seen these FF7 anniversary logos with all 3 of them since Crisis Core on PSP.
Remember that Cloud holds the same powers of Jenova as Sephiroth as being a perfect Sephiroth Clone(hojo notes from CC). In terms of dominating Jenova's will, the only one that can do it outside of Sephiroth is Cloud. If Sephiroth can alter time then Cloud who eventually becomes the Victor of Jenova entity is doing the same to fully end this rivalry permanently.
Kinda sounds like destiny crossroad from remake(which has aerith's theme in it) to me when aerith grabs clouds hand and says thos is the point of no return. @@wangvictoria2210
Oh how dearly I wish for Sephiroth to be redeemed in the third game 😭🙏 no, that doesn't mean he needs to live (as much as I would be overjoyed if he did, I know it's impossible), and he doesn't need to be forgiven by any of the party, but I hope that he can at least be understood, to a degree, in the end: that he can have closure, and that his soul can be saved. Sephiroth is the most iconic video game villain of all time, and for a very long time that was solely because of his presence as an ominous, powerful, charismatic evil, but ever since Crisis Core and beyond that has changed: he now has more depth, the person he used to be before he fell into insanity is kind and human and sympathetic, and they've been building up this side of him more and more over the years, _especially_ with Ever Crisis. You don't just have this entire baby Sephiroth story that humanizes him so much, and have songs called "Child of War", "The Golden Child Appears", and "White Winged Angel" (a _heroic_ version of OWA?! And it's so beautifulllll 😭), and draw all these parallels between him and Cloud, to NOT set up for his status as a tragic fallen hero to be cemented in the final game of the trilogy. I know a lot of people just love the cool evil version of Sephiroth, but he's vastly more compelling to me with this depth he's been given in the later games. Pleaseeee square do him justice in part 3; let him at last reunite with and be at peace with Angeal and Genesis (and Zack and Aerith) by the end of the story 😭🥹🙏
Notice how there are elements of Aeriths theme around 1:51 and 3:36 ? Definitely an interesting and telling choice, since this connects Sephiroth and Aerith in a significant way. I wouldnt be surprised if this is a hint towards his true nature as a half cetra.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who's uploaded most of these anywhere. It's almost impossible to get anything about this OST out there, or any information on it, either.
i broke out my old latin dictionary from highschool and have been trying to listen carefully a little at a time. when I figure it out i plan on posting
I sincerely hope those are legitimate Latin phrases that can be transcribed and translated. Also!! Realized that the bit that ends the song/starts the loop is the same bit that seems to be cut off and distorted in the remake games' versions of OWA so far. There has to be some sort of significance to that part for them to keep highlighting it in that way. Maybe in 3make it'll be the hardest part of the song and they're just building up to it. Or this is all cope. 🤷♂️ Also, some parts are reminiscent of Jenova
Tbh... I wouldn't actually mind us saving Sephiroth in the FF7R Part 3, but i don't think we will be doing that. Sephiroth was never the bad guy tbf. He was manipulated and became the bad guy after certian discoveries and those discoveries were pretty horrendous imo... Imagine figuring out that everything in your life up until that point had been a lie all along? Tbh the reason why Sephiroth is such an awesome villain is because you can really see why he became the way he did. You understand the reasoning behind it even if you yourself would never go down that path one still understands his POV.
hes such a tragic character and that's what makes him such a fantastic villain... i'd say he's way too far gone now for redemption and it'd be kind of a strange story decision to take The Villain - the famous evil guy everybody knows - and try to redeem him, y'know? but it's really interesting to me to think about what could've been if things were just a little different for him.
Now, give me a DMC5 mod with these minor changes near the end of the game's cutscenes. Dante as Cloud V as Young Sephiroth Urizen as Regular Sephiroth but wumbo-sized Vergil as just Sephiroth.
@@yanisalberinope the composers doing ffvii music now learned from the legend himself in fact lot of the composers for ever ff game likely learned from Uematsu or was inspired by him Uematsu is the first and certainly not the last lol
@@fissilewhistle which is why I'm annoyed they are putting what may be critical story information in it... 'cause if it's not in part 3 then I'll only ever see it on RU-vid
I’m still hoping eventually they do a console version that removes the gatcha elements, or does what Battle Cats does and keeps the gatcha but gives you a daily allowance of gems and free draws. Maybe they could add it as an extra for whenever they get around to redoing Final Fantasy VII with Ever Crisis character models. Though dear god at least the battle system is more enjoyable than Crisis Core’s.
