This song is in B standard tuning (BEADF#b) on the record, but you can play it in standard tuning if you play inverted power chords like you did here. Tim plays it live like this also.

fala Maha! vc usa só o amp high gain e o octaver? esse som é muito icônico do tim... e to perseguindo ele tem tempo... parabéns pelo trabalho!

Boas Marcio, obrigado pela visita :) Aqui eu usei a pod HD500x simulando um Bogner para high gain e um octaver. No refrão eu desativei o octaver e ativei um tube screamer para um pouco mais de punch. Espero ter ajudado.

i bought a MXR bluebox trying to this kinda octave but its not as good as i hoped, what pedal(s) would you use?

Hey Jay, I am using a Pod HD500x, from Line 6. They have a quite ok octave simulation. Far from great but it worked for this.
