I think many, as I do, follow several HotRod channels most of which generally tend to work on one or two projects from start to finish. But, it really depends on the content the channel provides. I watch basically everything you upload and because you are doing several projects there is always something to be taken from your content that applies to what I'm interested in or doing myself. The other point I'd like to make is, you have to be happy doing what you are doing and if it's working on several projects at a time - then do it that way. Variety is key and you channel does provide variety and content that I always take something from. Cheers.

Yeah, that Cu-Ni brake lines are familiar stuff in here Europe. I think its just stupid to use steel lines, when there are a lot better materials available. Its a safe stuff, lasts forever and looks better than the steel lines. That spark plug lacing was pretty neat trick, thanks for sharing that! I like it better when you concentrate on one vehicle at a time till completion its like building a plastic car model you don't start three at time you start with one and when it's finished you open a new box and start that one but we understand you're running a business not just a youtube channel what I like about you is you explain how you're going to resolve a problem not try to teach us how do something like build a English wheel or how to build a grate to out over your camp fire lol! Fitzee did that one
@LGKustoms
@LGKustoms 11 месяцев назад
Haha when I built model cars, I still built three at a time. Sometimes more! The 32 is definitely my main project, but owning multiple cars, and building cars for other people, I have to work on others. Like you said, I run a business, not just a RU-vid channel. Sometimes one video on the 32 can take a month to film (like stripping the orange paint off) so by filming other projects I’m working on, I can still release a video every week. I appreciate your feedback and comments!

Build your car in the timeframe you want to build it, that's reality for a lot of us that we jump from project to project and it's still very enjoyable to watch. It helps build the suspense too!

I've been using copper niquel tubing for brake lines sometime before i saw it in your videos in my shop and in my own cars, good stuff and very easy to work. I personally prefer to see diferent project videos at the same time, i think it's cool to learn and see diferent thinks in diferent projects. You don't going to put airbag suspension in your 32, or MII IFS conversion but it's cool to see it in other customer projects. I like how great it's turning out that 32 chasis, keep on with it!

Love the progress. As far as doing videos on only one project versus multiples, I personally like whatever comes up. I’m sure it would be much simpler doing one vehicle to completion since you don’t have to worry about juggling time and parts delivery and, oh by the way, the arrival of baby. Whatever you decide will be fine. If you were working on my car I wouldn’t want you to be spending time on anyone else’s vehicle but, then again, I’m greedy. Take care.

You've got a good set of equipment. A quality 4 post lift with a 180 degree swing jib crane/electric hoist at one corner takes all the pain out and room for another car. I didn't bolt mine down so I can move it (wheels included). If you get stuck with a broken cast iron part Crown makes a .035 mig wire that works great no heat just typical good weld prep. I even repaired 1931 badly broken exhaust manifold which is really poor material.

Rounding corners on brackets also leaves fewer things to ding a knuckle on later. The original bracket may have been done from under the assembled car which severely restricts access and sight lines.

To retain the old time look how about adding angles tangent with a radius around the stud centerline forming a triangle tab? Replace the single mounting bolt by drilling and tapping 2 bolt holes or rivets (underside welded)? Simply clean up the base plate by removing the mechanical brake light switch details and weld plugs in open holes. But your solution is very clean. I still vote for bobbed rears and cycle front fenders.
