Sweetheart, Atlanta is just another city in America. Yall telling me you’ve watched this interview and walked away from it thinking “Whew! Atlanta, Ga people are going through it” ?? This is not just the reality for the city of Atlanta nor the state of Georgia. Black people need counseling and mental health services all over the globe, but especially black Americans. Most black LGBT+ have similar stories as we are hated by our own people and nobody usually has our backs.

It may seem off putting but I can tell you after almost years of mental health work, it typically comes down to that to explain promiscuity, drug use, stunted emotional IQ etc.
This young man is extremely intelligent and analytical. Hit some really real marks on human behavior vs mentality. I hope that he can be a positive light to others that have or had similar experiences. He understands the system. He has information that’s vital. I’m so glad that he is strong enough to not mess with drugs, so that’s half the battle won. In the right place he can help so many. Sending prayers.

I lived in Atlanta about 20 years ago and the homelessness, specifically for black men, was out of control. I see that nothing has changed. Atlanta is a nice place to live but the City needs to do something about it.
People like Shae have my whole heart. I mentored lgbt+ youth for years. So many of our beloved family are super intelligent, creative and beautiful souls. I love the way he broke down the trans information. Sending good energy their way.
He has such a beautiful soul. So honest & genuine. I appreciate how he was honest about the true nature of the majority of men. They lie & manipulate to get sex. This is exactly why I taught my niece that the majority of men do not come into her life to love her. They're looking to use you for something. Even the "good" men are. Generational curses are real. Trauma in early life/childhood twists or perverts normal development on multiple levels. This soul is an example of a child trying to do the best he can with the hand he was given.

This is horrific. I’m from Atlanta but I do know Louisiana is very much like Georgia on that alphabet shid. It’s very poor however in those areas SW of GA below the poverty line we call it. He’s truly intelligent and should advocate as he would be amazing. May the most high be with this young man.
This really was one of the most interesting interviews I’ve seen on this particular channel. I always thought this was a sort of comedy station but this interview really held my attention. I hope everything comes together for this person. I worked as a guidance counselor in a correctional facility and dysphora is really deep especially for men of color .
I wanted to hear more about him talking about him being in Hoodoo and the man that died. I think ppl from LA are super spiritual and do have those powers. This was a very interesting interview. I loved the way that he acknowledeged that the trans spirit was of confusion, because we have been witnessing it the last week with trans women telling real women we don't own periods, that's uber confusion!
He's not dead. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Most likely he will remain incarcerated because he was the aggressor before being shot.

Allegedly, during the altercation, he attacked an individual with a stick, and that person shot him. Both he and his alleged victim were both transported to the hospital in stable condition with none life threatening injuries.
God cover this young man. Be a fence. Let his genuine nature and his well spoken relatable nature create a space for him to not only prosper in life but to be a voice for others like him. Your help is coming , your story is meant to be heard
He is clearly intelligent. I don’t think he was rambling at all. What I observed happening was that he had a lot to say and get off his chest. His mind was overflowing with thoughts and he just tried to get it all out in one conversation, which is impossible. He also speaks at a fast pace which can also be mistaken for rambling. He just needs to learn how to pace himself and enunciate his words. He has only been out of prison for two weeks after serving a 12 year sentence. I believe that he is intelligent enough to get himself together and off the streets. However, he stated that he wants to live on the streets. With that said, he might not be the same person in six months to one year from now. Unfortunately, His health and mental state of mind will likely decline. Not unless he seeks therapy, which he definitely needs after all that he has been through. I really hope that he puts his charisma, intellect and any talents he possesses to good use.
Shae was very insightful, but trust I am a Trans Girl and used to be homeless, and NOBODY wants to be out there on the ground or in a field! That's NOT living! It is surviving!!! I wish him all the best!!! 😘

I almost passed on watching this interview. This young man has a whole different insight on what he and others are going thru. I think if he could put together a lecture he could do some real talk on this. There may be a for him. He could have his own blog and make some money. He has personality. He could do prison stories and tell about the traps people have waiting for you. He's worth a look.

Yes, emotional trauma, but he explains he was trans and pan before he was abused. It’s probably why he was targeted, like many gay/trans boys. Abusers feel like they can more easily groom, abuse and get away with it easier if their victim is genuinely sexually interested.
The Trauma these young children go through and it holds onto them throughout adult hood! My God I pray this man gets free in his heart, mind, and soul!

Straight black men struggle with this, they have been taught to be emotionally detached and insensitive to everything and anything black. If he was interviewing a white woman he would’ve been more gentle and sensitive in his thought processes.
I agree. His tone and questioning showed very little empathy. It was almost as if he was trying to catch him in a loop hole. However, Shae was faith bound and consistent in his answers.
God Bless You Shae. My nephew has a similar story. Sexually abused by my cousins (two brothers) beginning around the age of 5. We didn’t find out until he was 15 or 16. He’s 26 now and in jail as we speak for aggravated crimes and things of that nature. To make it worse he also battles bipolar disorder. He has never been able to shake the sexual trauma. So my heart truly goes out to you. I hope God blesses you and transforms your life. ❣️

This is a true example of someone who is really tapped in, spiritually to their inner self, their capabilities, and overall strength of mind. Because what I got the most out of this interview is that he is so aware of what his trauma did to him how it affected his self perception. He kept talking about dysphoria, which is such a big thing in the trans community but it’s like he was completely aware of how it affects peoples mind. You have to admire such level of intelligence. He’s definitely tapped into a higher energy and it shows

As a survivor of sexual abuse, these stories are more common than we realize. Our men need just as much compassion and support as we do. Its much more difficult for them to open up. 100% . I am a sex trafficker survivor before becoming a psychology nurse. I do my best to assist others who have gone through or desire to come out of similar situations as ourselves and many others. You are completely accurate that guys frequently demand more compassion and that number is higher when it comes to men of colour who have a greater likelihood to be neglected when it comes to sexual assault, incest, and sex trafficking. Men, of all ethnicities more often than not than often require a higher amount of compassion than most would think. Although we may be unfamiliar to one another, I genuinely convey heartfelt sentiments of affection and healing, recognizing and acknowledging you and many others deserve the nature of love and blessings throughout the entirety of your existence.

He refusesss to be bamboozled, tricked, used, or abused, as well, he is very confident in what he feels is right and will stand on his opinions regardless of what the next person says. This is a guy that is not easily pressured into things and his experiences made him this way. He is highly intelligent and I admire his strength and resilience. I pray he gets the help he needs to heal his mind, body and spirit. If he does, he could do so many great things.

This happened to me but at the age of 6 by my two older brothers and I’ve fought that homosexual spirit my entire life while trying to recover and heal my inner child from the trauma I endured as well as protect my child from it ever happening to him
God bless you for being so mentally strong however everyone is not blessed with the strength or like myself didn't know or still don't know how to cope with a traumatic past. He's strong for not falling into addiction and that's where my issues lie. Yes God gave us free will but God is so loving and forgiving, he knows not a one of us is perfect and knows that we are all sinners and no sin is greater than the next, he wants his children to humble themselves and show empathy and not judgement bc in the end he is the final judge. If God expected us to be 100% without sin and flawless, we would all fall extremely short of his grace.

newsflash when I came up nearly all households were single parent as males had several households with several sets of Children by Different Women…were given a pass to run the street and pretty much wherever they laid their hat was for that night their home and We Survived. If we being honest, as kids, sometimes in the black community and in lower income communities where kids are unsupervised, your kids can be fast and influential on kids that may not be as advanced and want to introduce your kids to what they know. I agree with you as a person with a abusive mother I’ve seen firsthand ppl with two parents screw them self up. Like they literally have rich parents and everything spoon fed to them and they still manage to mess up their lives.

He definitely has the gift of gab! I just hope for his own betterment he will use it for positivity at some point. When he broke down his point of view on gender dysphoria it was refreshing. He nailed it!!! To each their own as far as I'm concerned. He still has a bit of youth on his side to make that transition to betterment in life. It's up to him and only him.
honesty im 2 spirit. i became officially trans through hrt but i havent had my hormones in months and they lowered my dosage a few months before freedom also its not about convincing the world im a woman im not im trans-woman ...i dont want to be anything more than who i am now and thats true and transparent
