I am a lifelong WH fan! As a child in a military family, we moved a lot, and my mother was a lifelong server. One time we moved when I was about 9, and she needed a job, so we went to a WH. I had a waffle. She went behind the counter and started taking orders and filling coffee without saying a word to anyone, calling out orders perfectly. She got the job on the spot.
First thing is they're supposed to greet you as soon as you walk through the door second been that long to get service and you always tell your customer thank you after you're done taking your order
Here in Grove City Ohio it’s known as awful house :( ... ..the only place on Stringtown Road where you have your choice of ANY seat in the house on a Friday evening, while you’ll stand in line at any other place on the strip.....
i dont know why some of these people in restaurants seem so miserable. i noticed when you said thank you to that woman who brought your orange juice, she didnt even acknowledge you back the first time! i get it here in knoxville, tennessee too at some places. i guess its just the individual, but some restaurants and other places you frequent seem like they are miserable at their jobs!
Wow, not exactly world-class service from those waitresses. They can't even smile? A day working at Chick-fil-A or In-N-Out Burger would straighten 'em out.
God I have not seen one of these places for 20 years I loved going there when I was trucking 20 years ago for only two months then the company screwed me.
I have never had a bad experience at a waffle house. When u r traveling in the southeast this is the place to eat. Omelet, grits, hash browns scattered, smothered, double covered & of course crispy bacon with a sweet tea.
I live in the south. And let me say, I have never in my life seen someone put sugar on grits. I know different parts of the country do things differently, but this was quite a shock. haha
100% gut Buster food. To a driver this is a gourmet meal, taste good going down hurts coming back out. Lol, I remember going across I-10 through Texas and truck stops were spread out. McDonald's look like a gourmet meal. love me some Waffle House.
That was the most unfriendly Waffle House I have seen. Maybe the camera made them uncomfortable. I was surprised you picked the grits over the hash browns. I love their hash browns. Also I never saw someone put sugar on their grits.
Frederic Koning yes and no. It's harder for over the road truckers because there's not enough time to go looking for healthier options. But that's another day in the life of a trucker lol
This is a serious public health issue. We rely on the trucking industry for nearly everything. Society does not in my opinion have the luxury of not providing healthy foods to them or the reasonable time allotment to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Its not encouraging to me to hear that it is get harder and harder. It should be getting easier.
sugar is not as bad as most people are led to believe... anything in excess is bad. americas biggest health issue is too much bad fats, next to pollution by chemicals, heavy metals and pesticides. a little jam or a few cans of soda a day is the least of your worries.
That Waffle House is kept clean, & was making me hungry , lol , I would like to see more of Tampers he's a beautiful little dog, have you thought of taken him with you OTR? I love grits with butter, cream & sugar, & what you ordered for breakfast too ! Yummmy ! lol Looks like its going to take all day long to get your scrambled eggs/pork chop with wheat toast, huh? & there in no hurry either, s l o w I say, looks good tho ! lol
Another one or two of your videos has you seated at the counter in the same area where on the other side they;re stacking up and doing dirty dishes. Not my choice of seats, that's for sure.
celui qui prépare les assiettes , na aucune hygiène ,il découpe la viande sans plaque ,a même le comptoir d'ou il est , ou tout navigue dessus , c'est vraiment lamentable il devrait être sanctionné , et les bactéries , et les clients ///
You spent lots of money eating junk food. How could you afford it? Waffle House was my least favorite place. I spent over $15 eating a tiny steak with lots of fat and egg breakfast last time.
