Seems legit to me 🤷‍♂️ I usually keep my voice levels at around -12dB and my background music and effects at around -16dB or even -18dB. I hate when effects or music are louder then the actual speech and then you can’t make out what they’re saying.

Ah the h4n pro. I use it all the time. It has a limiter built in, which is a nice safety net. -12 to -6 is my personal threshold when I set my levels.

It uses float point (something something math bla bla) which allows you to go over 0dB without clipping. My understanding is that it will still distort the sound but only on the analog end, which sounds way less harsh
