In this issue, I'm going to share how to make a galette des rois. In France, a round pie-shaped cake is eaten around the Catholic Epiphany on January 6 of each year. It is made of puff pastry and baked with an almond cream filling. The history of the pancake dates back to the feast of Saturn in ancient Rome, when the Romans placed beans in pastries at festive banquets and distributed them to slaves. Today's kings cakes often contain small porcelain statues with different themes, and they are usually sold with hard paper wreaths. Even though the religious color has faded, most French people still galette des rois at gatherings of relatives and friends in early January. Those who eat "beans" are lucky and receive blessings from others.
The amount of the following recipe can make three galettes for 4 to 5 people
1.Puff pastry: 375g of flour, 8g of salt, 185g of water, 52g of butter, 260g of butter for turning
