33:45: Saoirse and Shanti Celeste have found their groove. Ahead of their curated show at fabric this Saturday (25/02) the pair took us to DIY space All My Friends, a vibrant bar and record store in the hub of Hackney Wick.
AMF is the perfect place to catch up; the space is described as ‘A place for the friends we've met along the way, a place for all the friends we're yet to meet…’ As good friends on or off the decks, Saorise and Shanti are one of dance music’s favourite teams. But they’re by no means an isolated unit, with projects left-right-and-centre that encourage collectivity and creativity within the community.
The beloved duo - one hot off the back of a recent DJ MAG cover, the other fresh off her Hessle Audio debut - are familiar workmates and longtime collaborators. Here they spin us some spirited selections and let us in on their digging habits (and secrets).
